^i do too, i wish i could have rode The Beast when it was still the tallest, fastest, and longest wooden roller coaster.
-
are you not usually right?
-
i'm sorry to hear you hate your job, and i must ask do you get in trouble for people not buying the picture or you not having enough pictures taken?
-
exactly what i was thinking.
-
^i don't know because i too wasn't tall enought to ride it while it was there, but i remember very clearly setting in my stroller and watching train after train go threw the loop.
-
^yea, very "john deereish"
-
i forgot all about that.

the only theming that would have really needed to be removed after getting rid of the paramount things would have been the big statue where the pre-show is, the shiva(or whatever her name was) thing on the wall(which is still there), and the monkey statues(which are still used on other crypts). so the water and the stalagtites(sp?) could have stayed.

and if you also noticed the train going in reverse told monorail central that they were on the other track and that the 200 ft. stopping safety mechanism had been turned back on. -

and exactly how would he have known that the monorail in front of him was traveling in reverse if it was dark, or is the track more lighted than what the pictures made it look? -

wow, but you can't really put that much blame on the cast member that was killed can you? for all we know he thought the other monorail was on the other track, but when he realized it wasn't it was to late to stop and go the other way. and delorean rider, that was a neat little fact, i knew it stood for marry poppins, but had absolutly no idea why. -
when did disney change the name of mgm studios to hollywood studios?

so, would the monorail driver have like a flashing light or something notifying him that he was getting very close to another monorail? -
does anyone else think that the paint on intamin track fades really quickly, millenium force is starting to look purple, top thrill looks pink and grey, maverick is starting to turn a little pink, wicked twister is turning a really dull yellow and blue, and xcelerator is looking alot more faded than what it started out as.
