^once again, just because you don't like something doesn't mean that other people don't too.

FIRST OFF: I AM NOT TRYING TO START A FLAME WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! okay, i for one am very excited about Planet Snoopy coming to Kings Island next year, and after reading through nine pages of negativity about Planet Snoopy coming, no one has came up with a good reason as to why Kings Island would lose their golden ticket for "best kids area" just, " goodbye golden tickets" and crap like that, i mean, the whole section of the park is going to be the same, just with peanuts characters around insted of nick ones. you all are acting like they are going to plow down all of nick u and replace it with five or six of the same basic ride like how Cedar Point's kids area was before it was turned into Planet Snoopy. i think you all just need to calm down and give the peanut's a chance at the park before you start attacking the park and Cedar Fair. coaster_junky, who's most memorable moment from his first visit to Cedar Point wasn't getting to ride millie, but insted getting to walk into the giant peanut's giftshop.

just because they take out a movie doesn't mean a new one is going to be played next year, Kings Island could just go with the original plan for this season, next season, and it just set and gather dust. although i must say i would love to have smash factory back.

no, i mean the left side of The Racer (old forward side, now blue side) if you look at a park map or atleast the old ones that show the compass that points north, you can see that The Racer has a north and south side, and the blue racer is the one on the north side.

i would love to have a screamin' swing at Kings Island, expecially if they had it where it had it's full swing over a major attraction, just to add to the already amazing experience they already provide.

^my post wasn't directed towards you i just used two examples of what you said to help get my point across. but i'm lovin' how you can't speak your opinion, because someone will yell at you with theirs.

htco, i wasn't trying to start a "flame war" but i'm just getting tired of people always complaning about things, even though Son of Beast is one of the big ones, there are alot of other things, like Vortex, backlot, and other things around the park. i was just trying to say that just because you don't like something at the park you don't have to ride or watch it, for example my least favorite ride at Kings Island is Vortex, but every chance i get i don't type, "i wish Kings Island would tear down Vortex already and replace it with *insert b&m model of coaster* on all that land it's setting on," insted i just keep it to myself and go on with my day, and when i'm at the park i usually just avoid it, unless someone i'm with wants to ride it. i guess my point i'm trying to make is, nobody cares if you post what your least favorite ride or something is, but you don't have to keep on telling the board users about it every five minutes. /rant

so since you don't like Son of Beast, it should be gone. and now you don't like country music, you think that they should take out all of the shows that involve it. all i've got to say to you is if you don't like something at the park, just avoid it, they have different shows and rides around the park so that you don't have to stand around and complane about the ones that you don't like to ride/watch or whatever else it is that you don't want to do.

i think since Son of Beast is closed for the season, the park should offer backstage "hardhat" tours of it so people can go back and take pictures of it, and if they want to they can have it be an upcharge like skyflyer or slingshot. i know i would pay to do it.

^and that's my point, Son of Beast was open for the '07 haunt, so it would have been difficult to use it's line for club blood, and this year Son of Beast is going to be closed, so that would give the park more room for the line with Son of Beast's huge que, and why have Son of Beast's signs cluttering up the line when all you have to do is remove a couple screws or bolts to take the signs down.

^question is, was club blood there in '06? and the answer is no.

actually, they spelled "remainer" correctly. oh, i think i read somewhere in this topic about an animation of Son of Beast (sort of like the one for Diamondback), if there is one, will someone post a link to it?

since last off season outer hanks didn't become bubba gumps again, will it this off season?

^and if the rumor from a while back ends up being true, i think it's going to be a little harder to remember to call it "grandSon of Beast"

okay, first off i'm not sure if this belongs in the "other amusment park" forum or the "off topic" forum, but i was wondering if there was anyone on here as a member that got to be part of the disney college program, and if so could you please tell me a little bit about it? i am thinking very hard about doing this, but all i am really sure about it is that you can't apply until after your first simester of college. thanks for any help.

i call them by their new names, and the only one that really bugs me is Drop Tower, sorta rct-ish to me and for some really wierd reason i can't get fairly odd coaster to stick in my brain, i'm constantly correcting myself with that one.

i agree with kat, both Son of Beast and Flight of Fear deserve to be ace coaster landmark. and if Kings Island would remove the seat belts on Son of Beast it would qualify for coaster classic, wouldn't it?

i voted red racer, but want my vote counted as The Racer in general. i know that blue streak is older and everything, but when i ride it i just think of it being a smaller version of the north racer.

That picture says it all. Son of Beast isn't reopening any time soon. maybe i just need to get glasses, but where exactly does it say Son of Beast isn't reopening anytime soon?
