  1. ^actually if you didn't cut down what i said, then it would have been right.
  2. yes it does, if it didn't then the whole ride would just be a launch over a long straight peice of track.
  3. world's tallest wooden coaster world's first successfully looping wooden coaster world's longest wooden coaster world's first inverted family coaster world's first coaster to have six inversions world's first lim launch coaster world's tallest gyro drop world's best kids area for 9 years running world's first giant top spin world's first giant frisbee you're right they arn't know for many unique things. EDIT: i forgot about Diamondback being the first hyper coaster with a splashdown, there are most likely alot more that i have forgotten, feel free to add.
  4. like disney world, even though my none of my most favorite rides are there, i got goosebumps everytime i walked into one of the four parks there from how amazing walt disney was and how his dream has been reflected in the parks long after he's been gone. man i really want to go back to disney, one week wasn't even close enough time to go through all four parks.
  5. ah, see the parks site doesn't have it on the calander, but once you said it was pride night i remembered about the topic rumorsmasher started about it. i guess i just had a brain fart.
  6. how long does it last? i figured the park would be closed by now, it's almost midnight.
  7. is the park just having a staff ride night or something? both these are from the web-cam at 11:43 on september 11, 2009
  8. i think it would be neat if they kept it where it is and then bring back smash factory or another more comical simulator, just don't keep it around to where alot of people can resite it while the ride is going on.
  9. my least favorite coaster is maverick, mainly because of the quick turns after the first drop that cause my ears to hit the restraints and because of them launching you at 70mph just to slow you down to 5mph three seconds later.
  10. i love when you basicly get thrown out of the train when you first start the turn in the double helix, expecially when i'm setting in the very back.
  11. i thought it helped out the atmosphere quite well, it got rid of those gas powered antique cars that i loved so much.
  12. or it could just be because they don't want someone to sue or something because the park descriminated against their childs age, i know it sounds crazy having a 3-4 year old going through the haunts, but still that is up to the parent to make that decision, they were given the disclaimer and know what they are signing their child up to do and if they want to take their three year old to a vip haunt tour let them chose. and angie, i sorta saw the reverse of what you were talking about one night at haunt last year, a dad was getting mad at his kids, maybe 3 at the oldest for being scared by all of the roamers and not wanting to go through any of the haunts.
  13. last sunday i noticed how some people can get through a whole ride on Diamondback with flip flops, then end up losing them while setting on the brake run and them fall under the catwalk beside them.
  14. wait, wasn't Kings Island suppost to be designed to break away from the ticket system?
  15. wow, that's kinda funny that they are buying brand new flat panel t.v.'s but then go and buy used breakaway lines.
  16. what do you mean asking for it ? i've rode Son of Beast mulitiple times in the very back and didn't experience anything rougher than what you experience in the back seat of The Beast. and cedarpointer, no one died on Son of Beast, that would require them to be setting in the train at the time of death, they died the next day.
  17. okay, i always thought it was kinda neat (and sad) at full swing on Delirium getting to look down and see all of them just setting there.
  18. does anyone on here that can share know what happened to the antique cars that they had setting behind Delirium, did they scrap them or just move them to another area of the park?
  19. i'm excited for snoopy, so bring on him, charlie, and the rest of the gang. and a funny side story, my sixth grade english teachers, husbands name was "charlie brown".
  20. well, maybe that's a good thing, we wouldn't want the Kings Island security to surround your house and arrest you.
  21. congrats smurf, something you did is now on screamscape
  22. i understand completely that it is your opinion, and i am glad that you take the time to post on this website. i'm just saying when you talk about some things on here, it reads as if the park should/shouldn't do something because you don't like it. maybe i should have added a after that post.
  23. maybe since it didn't help capacity any. another quick question, does anyone have a picture of it with both trains, i honestly don't remember there being a second one?
  24. really? the two largest amusment park chains in the u.s. both use older cartoons as their mascots.(six flags: looney toons, Cedar Fair: peanuts)
