  1. i'm sorry, but if you look back at the major things that have happened to Son of Beast that were bad, all but one was under paramount, not Cedar Fair, and the one that did happen under Cedar Fair still hasn't been proved true, plus it has been cleared by the ohio department of ag. and they wouldn't have cleared it if it wasn't safe.
  2. from raptors video "this ride will virtually, forever more dominate Cedar Point's skyline." if only he knew then the parks future.
  3. really? the difference between my computers clock and kic's is less than a minute.
  4. i think around the time they reviled that they were going to remove the loop back in '06, or '07, can't remember which part of the off-season they anounced that at. that way if they are going to do an overhaul on the ride they will then have enough time before the park opens to do so.
  5. well, sorry about posting this again, so ryan, dane, or robbie, feel free to close this topic down. and terpy, i was going to use search, but when i didn't see anything in the "coming attractions" page of the forums about Planet Snoopy, i decided to post it.
  6. ^that was the link i gave, to carowinds Planet Snoopy ride names. i was just wondering if anyone else thinks the names will sorta be the same for all the new Planet Snoopys across the Cedar Fair chain.
  7. okay, since when Cedar Fair took out the paramount connections at Kings Island and the other paramount parks, pretty much all of the names were changed to the same thing at different parks, such as, the crypt, backlot:stunt coaster, flight deck, and so on. so are the names of the Planet Snoopy rides going to be the same deal? if so, carowinds already has their new names up here, and i guess we can go on and get used to them. sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, i was not on here for like two months and never saw anything on it if it got buried. p.s. i was kinda expecting woodstock express for fairly odd coaster.
  8. mini cooper's are still part of the ride backlot, they just removed the paramount references, and paramount doesn't own mini, or bmw for that mater.

    Backwards Racer

I think they should paint the railings on the blue side red, and the railings on the red side blue.. Just my thought. at least it would match the sign out front, blue over the begining of the red sides line, and red over the begining of the blue sides line.
  10. something i just noticed is the green train on Diamondback is now setting on the ground behind it's storage shed, winter rehab has offically started!!!
  11. i've always imagined everyone being shoved into the bathrooms or down in the many hollers around like Son of Beast, The Beast, and the entrance plaza(over by the dog kennel)
  12. well Son of Beast is the largest roller coaster in the park, (amount of building material) and always has a long line, so if we go by this, if we're lucky, it will stay. i'm back!!!!!!!! lol
  13. ^they've modified/changed the trains twice, once they removed the last car of each of the old pct trains and then when they switched over to the gerstlauer trains.
  14. so, you've never liked The Beast? how sad.
  15. maybe it has to do with the fact that you were only four or five when those ad's were on t.v.
  16. joker's jinx at six flags america. in this picture you can see where the mid-course brake run would be if it was Flight of Fear (the part of track with the circle things around it) and you can see that there isn't a catwalk or any wiring for brakes. http://rcdb.com/544.htm?p=524 Joker's Jinx also uses 2 trains, whereas FoF uses 3 trains. i understand that, even though it only runs train 1 and train 3 now, but read what you said, weather it be for a block or not i was just answering the question you asked.

  18. Vortex's mcbr is used as a block. then why on earth did it run for so long with the mid-course turned off?
  19. a couple of nights ago i had a dream that alot of us kic'ers were at Kings Island on a non-operating day standing out by the gate that leads to the parking over by the employee entrance and the only thing that don would say to us was "7348" and that was it, nothing more and nothing less, so people started throwing out random guesses to what they thought it me. all i could think about was all of the rides that were around that length, and all i could think about was millie, and steel dragon over in japan, so i yelled out giga coaster to him, he looked at me nodded his head and walked back into his office and left all of us kic'ers outside in the cold staring at each other, but no one was excited or happy, everyone was just confused and then i woke up. wierd dream.
  20. are you going to help with this re-theme, if so can you take pictures during the offseason for us?
  21. ^so are you saying that they thought it was open even when the line has been closed off.
  22. I'm assuming you've never been on Pirates Of The Carribean and don't forget the haunted mansion
  23. and what is a drop, but a simpler way of saying "change in elevation". actually, i do count those as drops, the only thing i don't consider drops are the things like the first turn on The Beast, The Racer, or the other things on roller coasters that are very slight inclines that help the trains coast slowly into or out of the station.
