That could be part of it but the chemicals within the water to keep it clean is what eat away at backlot's track and hence the removal. I promise it had nothing to do with the pumps not working in such. So what I'm saying with Diamondback is that chemicals must be watched carefully in order to insure the track being kept in top shape. It's definitely possible to keep it in great shape and I'm sure B&M engineers much better track than premier but still care will need to be taken. the water from backlot's splashdown never touched the track rather than a few drops here and there.

the first time i rode maverick in '07 when i was in line it was spitting rain and they closed it and then the next year i rode it in a steady rain , it really didn't make much sense to me.

Yeah your right though they made it seem like the big part of the ride. "85 Feet Tall" well the lift hill and first drop are usually the biggest part of a roller coaster. (or at least ones that have lift hills)

^but on the log flume doesn't the splash down at the end slow the log or boat down?

i remember one time we went to the park and got in an hour early and i wanted to go strait to that, so my mom and dad put me and my sister on it and we rode it once and i went to get off because i hated it and the ride ops insisted on me and my sister riding it again since there was no line, but after two times in a row i didn't want to ride it ever again.

wow, there are so many to choose from (the only parks i have been to are sfkk, Cedar Point, ki, and wdw). i would like to go to islands of adventure for dueling dragons and hulk, then there is holiday world with raven and the voyage, knott's for xcelorator, and sfga for kingda ka, and both bush gardens for their diving coasters. long list but i want to visit them all equally

and for some really weird reason that sound and smell calms me, as did once when some grease got on a pile of wood on our farm and it smelled like the lift hill on The Beast close to the start of the season.

when they had smash factory, what played on the other side? because i remember riding it when i was little and my glasses were shook off my head and i spent the rest of the show trying to figure out why all the characters had two heads.

i can't stand odd numbers, i have no idea why but i can't.

the longer the off-season last the more pumped i am getting for the '09 season, even if it's an odd number year.

^whatever year it was i was only at the park once with it running, and thought that it was weird watching a movie staring characters that had been removed from the park not long before.

it wasn't in 3-d, and imo it wasn't that great.

i loved when you would be driving down the road and all of the cardboard cutouts of the people would pop up and you would run right threw them.

i liked the one where you were riding in the crash test car, and at the end you ran into the wall and an airbag with a big smiley face popped out.

we arn't loosing action theater, it's just not going to be open this year, well atleast until Halloween Haunt starts back up.

there is no orange train, there is a gold, red and green train. (the two in the storage track are the red and green.)
