"just 'cause you don't enjoy it doesn't mean it should be removed."
  2. i am not sure if this is a rumor but since i have never read anything about it i'm guessing that it is. one day soon after ttd was opened they were running test runs over and over to see if it was running properly and it did and when they opened it up to the public that day the first train sent out got up to the top of the top hat and the train split and the first three cars made it over then the last two cars and the fake engine rolled backwards down the top hat
  3. go even numbers i only got to go six times, but i did get to go to Cedar Point twice

  5. one time i was riding Invertigo(wow that fells weird typing that) and some lady told me if you die on a ride they give you the park and life time season passes

well what do you think makes the clicking noise? because last time i checked hydrolic fluid doesn't click
  7. Seriously. How often do you hear people raving about how much they love the banana splits, lol. The enchanted voyage left because smurfs were more popular at the time. The Smurfs left because the park wanted to remove the water powered boat ride and replace it with a haunted theater. Phantom Theater left because scooby doo was more popular. Eventually scooby doo will be replaced by... my dad always talks about banana splits. and i hope the haunted castle leaves soon just because whenever i rode it last year the ride would shut down mid-corse and a seiren would sound.

one way this is ture is that retraints on majority of roller coasters are locked into place with a locking claw not hydrolic fluid
  9. then how about "the four to fear"?
  10. coaster_junky replied to RaCeR's topic in Rumors
my question is why did the train tip where it did? i could see it tipping over where they just came out of a turn, but not a loop
  11. blue streak at Cedar Point is like that to
  12. so why didn't they change the names of drop zone and congo?
  13. coaster_junky replied to RaCeR's topic in Rumors
Not buckling up on a ride is VERY dangerous. and that is why everyone who rode The Beast, before they added seat belts died or was seriously hurt same with Vortex,The Racers, and Son of Beast o.k. maybe Son of Beast wasn't the best example

  15. so are they going to paint over the italian job billboard or what?
  16. well it is a great name for top gun beings majority of the time you are in the train you are in the station
  17. Maybe because Congo Falls doesn't directly refer to the movie Congo. Congo is not only a movie, but it's a place! Most people do not realize that Congo was a movie. same with drop zone. i didn't know that was a paramount movie until it was pointed out to me in an earlier forum
  18. i really like the crypt just because it sorta fits in with the themeing from tomb raider backlot is o.k.(i'm just glad my mini's arn't leaving) flight deck just sounds stupid. i think a monkey could have came up with a better name Invertigo doesn't make since to me they shouldn't have mixed inversion with vertigo
  19. never mind http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/gg96/co...pg?t=1198292201 this is the only good picture i took of an amusment park this year Were you at a place with like a light house and stuff when you took this? Because that picture looks very simaler to a picture that I took a while back from when we took a trip to CP. if you are talking about a place with a short and fat light house then yes I want to say he's talking about the Marblehead lighthouse, correct? i don't know what the place was called. i was just mad that i was that close to Cedar Point and didn't get to go there that day.
  20. really? because it looks like they just filled in the writing with a lighter color stone. and the lighter color is only where the writing was
  21. Not to mention they also have to remove that inlaid stone tile thingy on International Street that says "Paramount's Kings Island Welcomes American Coaster Enthusiasts" or something like that. It's in front of the Girl Space and Lotsapalooza stores, but I don't know the exact term for what it's called. or they could just do like they did in the area that had the paramount movies inlaid in the walkway, just fill in where it says paramount
  22. thanks and sorry for any trouble 200 post at last
  23. i'll start to look at things more carefully here then.
  24. while he is correcting mistakes, even though this one isn't as big it bugs me a little on the thrill rides caption says pki insted of ki once again not that big of a deal
  25. i totally agree with your statement. we cannot allow safety devices to be ignored for the sake of an award. i would hope an organization like ace would take a fresh look at the message they're sending. i understand what you are saying but i also can see ace's view like moderonizing a roller coaster(such as adding seat belts) takes away from the classicness so i am on both sides
