well....we got him on. he tried the test seat and didnt fit so he walked away dissapointed and we rode every thing else we wanted with no problems. came back to Diamondback and he decided to wait in line with us. he tried getting on and it wouldnt lock at first so the op threw ALL of his weight into it and got that last click I have to say that was very nice of him to help...my bro REALLY wanted to ride. The only crappy thing was as we were getting off the op with the microphone made a crack about how the guy that helped us is good at jamming people in so dont worry...i thought that a bit uncalled for but shrugged it off. all in all was a great day

well we go tomorrow morning so *fingers crossed* we will see what he can get on thanks guys (and gals i imagine)

thanks for the replies I just didnt want to take him and have him be depressed all day for being rejected ya know? The only thing we saw on the KI site was above a 40 inch waist and above 220 would have problems...but didnt say what rides. He worried cause he has a 42 inch waist-carries it all in his butt it seems (poor guy) LOL.

lol Im sorry. But more on topic I remember the first time I ever rode a "big ride" with my dad...I was 7 and he bribed me 5 dollars to ride the Cyclone at Carowinds...I was terrified but jeez....5 dollars is a lot for a kid heh. I rode it with him and we went like 6 times in a row...a coaster freak was born that day. And yes...he did wind up paying me 5 dollars for EACH ride...I wasnt stupid....LOL. That sadly enough was the last time he was able to go with the family before he passed. I will buy a pass next year when my son is big enough and we will go a lot...he already begs to ride the coasters. I will never forget how much fun it was hanging out with my dad like that. It is odd though that it is the opposite for my son...i love the rides while my husband just takes a book and waits for us....my mom NEVER rode anything either. They dont understand what they are missing out on.

i took my kids last year...they were 5 and 1 1/2. I can honestly say they loved it-the train ride to pick their own pumpkin and the free candy will make any kid happy lol. The only thing i didnt like was the crowds...all the rides we wanted to ride were open but it was so crowded that we picked just 4 or 5 to do before we left. The characters are out and about yes...including stilt walkers.

since it has always been pastelish...whats with the orange paint blotches showing through here and there?

touche and he assures me that no...he would not have enjoyed looking at the guy as much as i did He was stuck at home with my too short kidget..i cant wait till he grows a bit more and we can all have fun...even if Mr Darwyn is too....whats a better word than sissy...to ride the really fun stuff. oh and apologies accepted...its just a nickname that has followed me forever.

Long time lurker just about first time poster I normally wouldnt even write except i have something good to say. I took my son to Kings Island saturday for a short 5 hour trip and we had a blast! Started on Viking Fury (my sons favorite ride) and then went to congo...didnt get wet on the ship but my son made the mistake of getting too close on the deck and...well...he looked like a poor little drowned chihuahua until I went and changed him! We went to Scooby next and I dont know if I majorly suck or if the gun was broken...both are possible...and he beat me 90 to 0 lol. Then we went to my new favorite ride...Avatar! My son wasnt tall enough for this last year so I never rode it before and omg its fun! Next up was reptar...jeez what a rough ride. The thing that absolutly made my day was the ride op on The Beasti...err fairly odd coaster. My seatbelt was stuck and he came over to help me...and when he looked up and smiled at me I just melted! Not only was he tall dark and handsome but jeez nice as all heck on a hot stressfull day. (I think your name is Nick and I am in love) LOL. Last but not least we rode the train and hit up viking fury one more time. Got some fries to share and made the trek back home. It was a nice little trip...next year if my son grows oh an inch and a half I will finally have my coaster buddy

It was for Coke but ill be danged if I remember how it started...I just perked up when I heard Kings Island.
