I have been to Orlando many times and I can't remember driving by Universal not wanting to go. I don't think I ever was wishing I was at Cedar Point when I was at Universal either.

Looking at the pics that we have of it you can see that lift is likely to have a cable. You can see that it has the anti rollback notches cut in it so you probably know it's not going to be launched. Then you will notice there is no mounting points to bolt supports to the lift. Then you can see that the lift is not that wide so that may limit the free standing height of it. Till what we know about it changes you should have enough info to get a idea of what it's not going to be.

Well I guess it could be if them Washers work only on coasters 300 foot tall and up.

If it turns out to be what it looks like it is it will probably be under 150 feet tall. Why do people think it's going to be over 300 feet tall?

I am thinking that lift is going to be straight up by the looks of it.

Could be possible that the wrong shipment was delivered as you always see load after load delivered when a park gets a coaster. This was only a small amount that got delivered. One would wonder why they unloaded it though and had the crane there if they wasn't waiting for it.

I was never close enough to hear it, you couldn't get that close to it. There was explosives used in the area and you wasn't allowed on their property.

My grandfather used to operate the Big Muskie. I live around 25 minutes away from the bucket. I have seen the Big Muskie working back in the day. You could see the lights on it at night for miles. When it was running it was running 24/7.

I remember some years ago KI having 3.3 mil and was the record for a seasonal park. I remember this was told to us at a KIC meet up.

The big deal is we don't want someone hurt! I have went back through this thread and I didn't see much worry about someone getting hurt. It looked to me like they was more worried about getting it fixed.

I don't know what the big deal here is as I have seen this happen many times over the years. It is usually back running again in days.

I was over by the Wild Escape Theme Park friday and there is still no construction going on. I would have thought there would be some work started but it's still the way it was a year ago.

I like how they had no idea last week where they was going to be and now they do. It was just too early in the season to say but now that it's a week or two later.

Could be dirt for a event that is coming up.

I haven't seen any markers but I will guess they are getting a Halloween attraction like Club Blood. I will bet that is what Cedar Point is is getting. If there is a coaster coming it will probably be a transplant from a closing park. I haven't been keeping up with the rumors so I could be way off.

I think anyone will be able to make it if they pay the prices that was said when this all started.

I will get sick and lightheaded after riding if I don't eat before going to the park. It's getting worse the older I get. They seem to know this by the way they price the food as when I feel that way the price doesn't matter that much. It will be worse on hot days when you are dehydrated. The high G rides will make you have tunnel vision or blackout. My guess is that it's from a blood pressure drop caused from the dehydration. Some sodium packed fat dripping pizza and sugar filled drink will clear it right up.

Didn't see anything about his 100% 1.3 million bonus plus other benefits putting him up around 4 million. The net income for Cedar Fair in 2008 totaled 5.7 million. I guess what Dick didn't take the rest of the gang got in bonuses. The big exit will be soon because there will be nothing left to get.

I may have had a little hypothermia and was hearing things but I thought I heard Don say you would need to be out front at 5am.

It was said at the winter KIC Event that you would check in at 5am Saturday. The way heard it was that you had to be there then to be apart of it. Not that night or Sunday or any other time. There has been many say they are just going to show when it's convenient for them and I don't think that's going to happen. I don't know if that's how it will be but that's the way I heard it.
