  1. I would bet the construction workers will have next week off so there may be nothing to see.
  2. I went for around 10 years and can say it's best to go on days that close at 2 AM. They seem cut back on the nights that they close early. It's not worth the money you save going on a night the closes at 12. The Express Pass is also worth the money. I am thinking about coming out of HHN retirement to see what's changed. I remember some people got replaced that was running the show a year or so ago.
  3. So you speak to the general public? Is there a survey that we can see? Kids are more likely to be afraid of inversions but as they get older they work themselves up to overcoming their fear and enjoying them (with exceptions). I mean... isn't that a joy of childhood, being able to ride a ride that you were scared of the year before? The Phantom's Revenge is where the talk about inversions started. I remember reading all the time how the GP wanted rides that they could ride over and over.
  4. I think you can forget the about the Intamin Giga. Resistance is futile!
  5. I would guess them tiques each use way more than a gal a day. I would be betting it would have been closer to 1 GPH.
  6. I'd imagine it would since it is at a B&M plant. There is just no link to KI here. Here is a link https://www.visitkingsisland.com/
  7. That support looks a little like this
  8. One thing that was told about construction of Diamondback was that the footings get a 90 day cure time. That should tell you a little about the construction schedule.
  9. My guess based on some of the footings is that lift direction in drawings is incorrect.
  10. I can think of a B&M train that is three rows and very wide.
  11. I been on the Divers and have fun every time I ride one.
  12. I have seen this said since there has been internet to see it on.
  13. Dec 1 they said Strong Sell and I said you have to wait. You would have had your backside handed to you if you went short on that Strong Sell.
  14. Looks like fun started a downtrend after the election. I think that tells you something. Fun trending down close to two support levels in the middle of oversold and overbought. That tells you that you have to wait.
  15. You would be waiting if did know what was gonna to happen. The thing I do the most of at KI is waiting.
  16. I have been waiting for the lift to come down so I can say it's gone. It seems like the work has stopped or it's not going as fast as it was before.
  17. I would like to get my hands on enough wood to build a small coffee table. SOB was one of my favorite coasters. I just want it for the memories. Plus it would be a neat conversation starter. I do agree with you that whoever just buys one piece of wood will probably get rid of or just forget about it. That's why I'd like to build something with it. I could be wrong on this, but I'm not sure you want a coffee table made out of pressure treated wood. As long as it wasn't treated with Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA). If it is, I guess it will be an outdoor table. You could build an Outhouse with a lap bar.
  18. It seems that most of the over rated rides are within driving distance of local Kings Island fans.
  19. That sounds like some of the additions that just got installed.
  20. I always thought 9-10% was going back into the parks back when things was Paramount. I would guess the ride cost have gone up way faster than revenue in the last 10 years.
  21. I don't think the members here read Screamscape.
  22. I remember a rumor about KI getting a new entrance. I wonder if that rumor was off 200 miles.
  23. Gatekeeper could be the one that keeps most of the gate. The old Gatekeeper didn't want to give the gate away.
