  1. Okay then, don't share them, no one is speaking directly to you. Other people 'saw' them. At this point I don't believe anyone actually saw anything and we're being trolled, hard.
  2. I just don't understand how it was perfectly acceptable to post Mystic back in 2016 but not this. The mods haven't said a word and the park hasn't said anything to the mods...yet. Even then, it can be shared in a PM lol
  3. where was this energy about maintaining the sites image when Mystic was leaked? lol
  4. Sigh... all right. You guys win, I get it.
  5. I just don’t understand why people can’t make valid criticisms about something they dislike? I said multiple times that I street looks amazing and that the fountains look great. I even posted photos of the buildings that I liked the most. I had some general dislikes about the fountains and the forum has erupted and saying that we demanded blood and now it’s an HBO show. This is bonkers lol
  6. Blood, really dude? I side with Creed here. This is too dramatic. A very few amount of people disliked the fountains and now we’re saying that they demanded blood over the pedestals. Wow. I see now that criticism is highly frowned upon on this site.
  7. I think many of you are missing the point that a few of us are trying to make. No one said that people would stop coming to the park or that the fountains looks horrible because they aren’t ready. What I was getting at is that they don’t look as nice as they used to, at least to me. That’s all that I was saying and a few others too. No one is arguing that it reduces guest experience. Sure, they might not be completely finished, but as I said before, you can get a pretty good idea of how they are going to operate normally by how they operate now. I think the squiggle down the middle looks silly and the streams are thin and weak. That’s all. Still nice though.
  8. Wholeheartedly agree @cdubbs727. In time, the new fountains will just be a part of the park. I hope I haven’t come off as not liking any part of I street. I think it looks amazing. The paint jobs and small details are fantastic. The tables look so much better and the pavers are excellent. @Creed Bratton exactly, they’re just fountains. It doesn’t matter. I personally dislike them, but if you like them, awesome. Nobody goes for the fountains, but they are a focal point of the park..
  9. It’s like “no not like that” because people didn’t expect them to change the fountains like they did. Maybe we do know that there is more to the fountains BUT you can get a pretty good idea of what they’re like and capable of at this point. So yes, I am disappointed. Life goes on. I will continue to visit the park regularly, it’s water.
  10. Sure, we can just all collectively agree that Kings Island can do no wrong. Every single thing they add is great for the park and looks good. Would you be saying this about the people who complained about BLSC replacing antique cars? Some people won’t like what the park does. If the park really doesn’t allow KIC “perks” anymore because a few users disliked its fountain display, that’s childish.
  11. I mean, I’ve given them everything else. The park looks amazing and I am impressed, they just seem to have fallen short on the fountains. Even with a better choreographed show and lighting, it’s not going to be like it was. People are allowed to be disappointed. Tiny streams timed to music isn’t going to impress me much haha. I am done talking about the fountains.
  12. Yeah I agree with Brent. I think what I dislike is how they removed the “grand” elements from the fountains, which I would consider to be the pedestals and the high shooting water. It might still be the same height now or even higher, but the little streams aren’t impressive. The water that used to come out of the fountains was substantial, now it’s tiny streams like in a mall. It reminds me of the fountain that used to be at Tri County Mall, if anyone remembers that.
  13. The new coaster will actually be diving through the fountains and the new set up is temporary. I was told this by the CEO of Cedar Fair himself. (i am joking)
  14. Maybe they think it’s too cold to run during Halloweekends? They are on the lake and I would think it would get much colder there in October than KI or other CF parks with WindSeekers (not sure though, haven’t been to CP since summer 2007)
  15. Really? That’s actually very odd. Anything else specific that was said?
  16. (Photo credit: @Midgetman82 via Twitter) Very impressed with the new paint jobs on the buildings. It definitely feels more like a cityscape than it did in the past. The removal of the large trees is the best thing to me. It looks cleaner and has that feeling of being new, like when the park first opened.
  17. Yeah I agree. They could have painted the pipes white if they wanted to keep the bottom of the pool white. Don’t know how good the paint would look after some time, but the pipes would be much less visible.
  18. Okay, I guess these look pretty nice!! Much better than what was shown last night. Still not a fan of the visible silver pipes, but whatevs, they’re just pipes.
  19. I’m glad I’m not the only one disappointed with the fountains. Don’t get me wrong, I-Street looks amazing. The pavers are beautiful, the removal of the large trees opened the space up, and the buildings look fresh. They really missed the mark on the fountains. Hopefully Boddah is hinting at further improvement.
  20. What I also dislike is the visible silver pipes. It looks cheap and unnatural to the fountains. From the videos I seen they also look really weak.
  21. I agree. I’m not a fan of the pedestals being gone. It looks very empty. Change is good though, it can’t be the same forever
  22. Now this is what I want to see!! I am a believer now lol
  23. Dbacks teasers might not have gone up until later in the season but there was a significant amount of work done before the park opened in 2008.
  24. Yeah the rain wasn’t the biggest issue for me, it was the 50 degrees with rain that worried me. I can deal with rain but not when it’s chilly.
  25. Weather seems to be getting better!! Now it’s saying a 60% chance of rain. Overcast with rain showers at times. I hope it stays this way!
