That sounds like at lot..haha.. I didnt mean that it was the most unpopualar ride, but I think (or atleast it is for me) that Top Gun is a ride people ride just b.c it is there. It isn't one of the rides that brings most people back to the park. With the new trains it might be that way again. Steve ps. Top Gun has more riders than SOB?? That is crazy! NUMBER 100

It could be alot like the Universal Studios Attraction "Twister." It is an attraction in which they show you how everything behind the scenes. The show also has a walk thru section showing you the types of scenery that the movie used, but I doubt PKI would have enough room to do that. I'm sure it will all be sit down, where as Twister is a walk thru expierence. But they will probably both show some of the same things. Steve

I dont think anyone here is an expert at the cost of rollar coaster trains...but it was mentioned that 2 new trains would be expensive to buy for Top Gun. Well does anyone know how much those would be?? Steve

For all you who dont know what it looks like underneath here is a brief description as I remember it: It was a themed que line. That is all it was. It was EXTREMLY well themed down there. It almost in my eyes looked like the insed of an aircraft carrier. There were monitors and stuff that were supposed to be like radars and there were a lot of fake missles and weapons and stuff like that. Steve

I'm not sure which ones but other Paramount parks have a rollar coaster called "Top Gun" and you feet dangle on those. That may have been what you were thinking of. Here is a thought: Top Gun is probably a dying coaster at PKI, many people still ride it and I'm sure it has its hardcore fans...but does anyone think it would be a good idea to replace the current trains with trains in which your feet dangle?? I think that doing this would breath a breath of fresh life into a dying coaster. (Then maybe they could re do the theming as I said in an earlier thread..haha) Steve

I never knew there was a show on the Water Tower in AZ...huh...I guess you learn something new everyday!!! Everyone has valid points about why or why not to have shows in the Festhaus....but the main reason to not have one was b.c. of the overcrowding of the people trying to eat in the festhaus....Well I have to disagree with that. Ya i know that it would be crowded in there, but there are plenty of places to eat in the park...if you dont wanna be crowded while you are eating then go somwhere else in the park.... I think that having a place to eat with a show going on at the same time would work very well! Altho' i dont think it will happen!! Steve

That would be pretty cool. But the Festhaus to many is a place to go to relax during a tiring day. So I would like to see them keep it the way they are and just add some shows. Am I the only one who has a hard time seeing the screens in the Festhaus? Steve

I wouldn't have even noticed that.haha...With the new rides (Sob, Delirium, Face-off, etc) you would have thought they would feature those rides instead. I remember the days when there were shows in the Festhaus and It made your meal that much more enjoyable. The show that I clearly remember was the gameshow about 8 years or so ago. It was fun and guests got to come up on stage and participate. Does anyone know why this show was taken away? Do you think there will be any new shows in there? I personally would really like to have a show in there again. It is a nice break from the outside to come in and eat a meal and watch a show. Steve

Welp Disney is the only place I have seen a parade. SF KY Kingdom is the closest SF park to my house and they dont have any parades...And I havent been to Korea recently....so..... Steve

I forgot to place my opinion about this in the topic so here it is. I think it would be a great idea. I dont recall andy parades in the past (I am probably mistaken, I'm only 18 and dont remember much). I think this would be very do-able and Parmount would have to throw in a little twist so that it wasnt too much like Disney's parade. I would really like to see this. A parade would also be a way to bring back all of the old HB charachters that everyone misses so much. Steve

I was reading a thread "New Charachters for 2004" and the idea of a Parade at PKI was mentioned. What does everyone think? Would this be a good idea? Would PKI have enough Personalities (charachters) to make a parade that people would want to watch? Steve

Larossa's are all over the Greater Cincinnati area. In Southeastern Indiana, Northern Ky, and all over Cincinnati, and even up in Oh up by Dayton. Larossa's are pretty much just cincinnati but once you have had it once you want to have it again. So Larossa's will slowly expand all over Ohio. I have always felt the same way. The reasoning I place behind this is because you are so hungry and wore out after a day at the park that anything will taste better. You just want food. Plus PKI bombards you everywhere you go with the smell of great food. So you are craving whatever you are gonna eat. Therefore it taste better!! I actually think there may be more effort into making the Pizza's in a regular Larossa's. I have noticed by watching at PKI that the Pizza's are sorta just thrown together... Steve
