Im glad that this has gotten cleared up for me. The funny thing was that I actually talked to my mom about this ride this morning. I was too youg to remember it being there but she said that it had a massive accident. Im glad to hear that there was nothing of the sort that happend.... Sorry for my mistake! Have a great night!

Ok I can agree with that. But it is a one of a kind ride in the park. So if it were put in a category with other rides my best guess would be that it would be a flat ride. It def. isnt a rollar coaster. steve

Vortex. Big Hill, 6 inversions, good speed. And everyone can fit on it. If FOF had better designed seating then it might make a stab at #1. but they have no love for us 7 footers in the world. STeve

Hey Everyone. I hope this day finds all of you guys doing well. I have been looking through the different topics and i have yet to see one for ranking your favoite rides. So here is your chance. Rate Your top 10 Rides And then rate the different areas of the park. You all know your favorite rides, in case you cant remember the names of the areas in the park here they are. Ole Coney Action Zone Hannah Barbarra Land (Nickelodeon Splat City) International Street (Eiffel Tower, Carousel) Boomerang Bay(a.k.a. Water Works) Rivertown Octoberfest I dont think I forgot any areas of the park. If i did please add it on. Steve

I live in Ky so I am a little unsure of one thing.... Is ohio moving towards making casinos legal? If they became illegal I would be totally against having a casino at this park. I wouldnt be surprised if a Paramount Casino popped up somewhere close to the park, but with the park having its parking limited on really busy days (which happen alot), i just cant see them putting their Amusement park guests through the hassle of more people. I dont think this is even a question. The Beast is probably still one of the most popular rides in the entire park. The Beast has been around for so long that it is the staple of Kings Island. I love the ride. It gets my vote for best ride in the park. STeve

I can understand why you would think that but it is stand up rollar coaster. It has more of a seat then the King Cobra did but you are firmly standing up the entire time. Steve

Ok I know that this is mentioned in other threads...but what would you most like to see at PKI in the coming years? What kind of ride does the park need??? Personally I believe that PKI is in need of another Stand up Coaster. The King Cobra was a classic and I really wish it was still at PKI. However I think a new stand up coaster like "The Hulk" at Universal Studios Florida© would be great for the park. It would be too big and it could easily be themed into a current area of the park. I would love to see a hyper coaster at PKI but I feel that the sheer size wouldnt mesh to well with the current Fung-shwa if you will of PKI. I think we should leave building all the super coasters to Cedar Point and PKI should keep itself as Ohio's best "Amusement Park."
