Remember, most people on this forum live somewhat nearby. Of course we won't pay too much to go there. The resort is for people who live much farther away. And let's face it, not everyone wants a cabin. Most people are turned off by the words "Camp-ground", and the words "Resort" are much more inviting. Also, about all this "PKI is giving up the history" crap. GIVE IT UP!!! Times change. If the human race didn't "give up the history", we'd all be cave men still.

PKI... a SMALL park??? WTF??? PKI is the largest seasonal amusement park in the country. We had more guests last year than any other seasonal park. This new resort will attract even more guests. I've been to many parks outside of Ohio, and PKI is NOT a small park by any means.

Rumors? We've known they were going away for a long time, ever since news broke of this hotel.

CP, HW, and hopefully USF. Yeah, all parks I've been to already, but 2 of the 3 have new coasters since the last time I visited.

Yeah, when will people learn Sparky knows what he's talking about? He's been to more parks than anyone, so his head isn't filled with, "OMG PKI ROXORZ!!!" He knows there is better out there, and not everything PKI does is amazing. And I am almost to that point. 50+ coasters and counting baby!

If we are going by a year by year of who "won", then I'd have to say we "won" 4 of the 6 years. TRTR beats Twister any day. Those types of coasters can be found at many parks, but TRTR can only be found at 1! It also brought in alot of people.

Sure, the low income family thats bringing in more money that the big bro. Once again, more people are coming to PKI than CP. Money means nothing if you use it well, just look at Holiday World! A small FAMILY OWNED park, building 2 of the best wood coasters in the world, and neither of them are that tall!

I am sick of these people whining about not getting a coaster, even when we are getting a brand new on NEXT YEAR!!! Bigger isn't better. CP obviously hasn't been doing well last year. Not only did we beat them in attendance, but PCW also beat them. We DO compete with CP, and not only do we compete, but we WIN! GIVE IT A BREAK ALREADY!

I've been on Riddler's Revenge, and I loved it. Yes, stand-ups are good rides, but just because we had one doesn't mean we need another one.

Well at least it isn't King Cobra 2!!! Why would they need to replace King Cobra? Just because we lose a ride doesn't mean we need a new version of it. Sure, I like some stand-ups, but just because we had one doesn't mean we need another one. It's just dumb.

A ride host? I guess you mean ride operator. The training is nothing special, they show you how to properly check people for height, properly operate the ride, and other things. I've been a ride operator for two years, and it is a great job.

I think one member would LOVE the name Footloose... *coughDDcough*

If you want to stay at one position all day, they normally will let you, but you most likely wont want to. Of course, I have seen one person ask to work from open to close at the exit of Zephyr, and actually did it! The supervisors are pretty good at rotating people from one position to another.

I checked my schedule and it turns out that is an exam day at school. My first exam that day starts at 11:10, but that is a take-home exam, where we just turn in a paper we write. I'm gonna ask if it has to be in right at 11:10, or if we can turn it in later in the day, or by e-mail. The next exam is at 12:30, and I have to be there for that. So basically, does anyone know when it will be over, and will we be able to leave early?
