So I went to KI last wedensday on my way to wapakoneta ohio. I go to KD reguarly so it was nice to see a park that was similar to it. I like the layout of KI better than KD but KD has more trees and not as much asphalt. OK.... so we got there at 9 and waited for them to open the gates and when they did, everyone just walked in and they wernt checking any bags. do they always do this? cause I could have brought anything I wanted into the park, if I knew they were gonna do that I would have packed food. We started off by going to Firehawk because ive never been on a flying coaster before and we walked on the front row cause we were one of the first people there and first ride was awesome! felt like I was gonna fall out of my restraints but I like that stuff. the second ride was kinda boreing but I liked the first. Then we went to Diamondback which is one of my favorite coasters now! I have to reconfigure my top ten list. After that we went to The Beast and that is now my favorite wooden coaster, I just wish they didnt have the trims on the first drop. then we went on Vortex, and a few rides over there. The Xtreme Skyflyer and Sling Shot were great and I wish KD had a discount thing we paid 10 dollars for both drop zone had too long of a wait and the one at KD has a bigger drop so I didnt care if I went on that. Flight deck was pretty boreing and had a long line. I wish Son of Beast was open cause it looks awesome! Overall had a great trip to a park I hadent been to before! you guys have a pretty nice park. on a side note does someone post on here with a Diamondback shirt(I think) with all of your rides on the back? It was at 2900 when I saw it well I was right behind you. and im pretty sure I saw a couple people from this website that I reckonized from seeing at KD opening day.

the I305 facebook said there are no new trims on the ride but I dont know how accurate this is.

I saw you there! I remember you you were like right by me in the line. great trip report! and btw I dont know where you were all day but there was no one in the single rider line so me and my friend got 8 rides.

If youve never been before or havent been in a while dont go until a few weeks after it opens with I305 at top priority for opening the other rides only had one train go through maintinance so 1 train for about every ride for the time being. I305 no one knows there is a single rider line so just go to that you get on really quick!

Thats the best news ive ever heard! trust me nothing but bad things would have happened if Cedar Fair was sold to apollo.

I305 is the most intense coaster ive ever been on, line moves very fast rode 8 times yesterday! one of the trains broke at like 5ish so they had to switch to one train operation which hurt the line hopefully they have it fixed for today the park should be very crowded. Volcano, dominator, grizzly, fof, all had one train operating and fof wasnt working properly for the first half of the day.

Well according to rob from tpr it "eats millennium force and craps it all over Cedar Point". Ill post my official comments tommorow after I ride it.

When it was open Hypersonic XLC at KD felt the fastest to me. there was nothing that compared to its acceleration.

John Pagel(the pr guy for KD) said that Cedar Fair is looking to unifiy all of their websites so new websites for the former paramount parks could be in the future.

everyone at KDfansite thinks nick will be leaving because everythings 50% off but this is from KDs twitter...... "Happy 10th birthday to SpongeBob SquarePants! we are celebrating with 50% off all Nick merch!" so thats proabibly the case with KI too.

thats what I was thinking, when I was at Cedar Point, maverick was never down and it was the best one in the park, and the lines moved really quickly. KI needs to get an Intamin roller coaster! if they get one it will be the perfect park.
