Well it appears the one area of the park that is often overlooked is the childrens area. Well last year we attended a lot and we took our young children of course. And early in the day when we entered the childrens area we and many and I mean many others that only 1 ride was running???? What they were doing was rotating one operator from ride to ride at a time. And there were many kids waiting, they would have to wait untill all the kids got through the lune untill they moved on to the next ride. Sure times are hard but what imsge does this project? We actually followed another couple up to guest telations wondering why? She was furious as she has a very small child and the majority of tje kids in kid world did not want to ride the swings, boats or other very young person rides. I mean she paid equally to enter the park. She took thetime to travel to the park. She chose KingsIsland. i really hope this practice is stopped as it really looks bad. And thats also the childs first impression and memory of Kings Island. And i remember memories of Kings Island when little i would hate for it to be one of not being sllowed to ride.

I mean if they insist on the dark only at least it would be nice if it was dark. But you can see the empty building it really has no effect.

My sandals fell of on runaway reptar when I rode with my daughter. They were easily visible on the ground behind the fence. But due yo Kings Island rules which I understand they cannot go inside the fence untill park close and security must do it. Well at that point it was gonna appear I would be walking barefoot through the park. But thankfully a worker took the time to rig a long pole with a hook and fished my shoe out. I learned a lesson and was very grateful.

I would really like to participate as I am currently trying to lose weight, i have been struggling for a few months and it is not happening as fast as I hoped.

I want one of those Kings Island pennents that were attached to a bery long pencil from the late 80's.

Dont skip any rides ride them all. But as stated and not to beat a dead horse: Must rides The Beast, Vortex, db if you lucky, racer, FOF, umm nevermind just ride everything.

Thats true. I will say Kings Island does a spectaculair job during halloween with production value throughout the park.

I am goona keep track this year, as I am definetely goona go for a personal best. Hope to go to CP around 4 times. Were going to disney next week which is our 21st trip there.

Well wife and I went over 30+ times last year probably much more than that this year going to sistain that if not more. We live pretty close by.

I hope to hit up CP opening day this year as well. Were going to a few six flags as well.

Ohh i know I guess my point is as you all know, and I realize I only recently... Very recently in fact joined this site.. But There are amusement park nuts ( like myself and hopefully others or maybe time for the zanax lol) and then just the casual park go'er, and the family vacation type. Not everyone has to be there day 1 and even less will get outta bed at 5 am to do it! I think it takes a bit of hardcore enthusiasm to do it.

Yes that is what I mean exactly. I mean even a opening celebration with singing small pyro and bslloons something. One moment that always brings tears to my eyes is when you get to the magic kingdom early before opening and they put on that spectacle before they open the gates. It gives you a special feeling that continues through the day.

I in my opinion again my opinion only feel it wont be this insane mess everyone is expecting. I am sure there will be a turnout but if previous years are any indication its not like summer when everyone is off and their. Plus factor in those that want to avoid "opening day". Also just become this wonderful site informs us in all the details most majority of passholders wont even be aware of the ert. Or the proper time to show up to ensure a good spot. Shoot many wont even know their open yet. Lol.

Please dont take what I said as I dont like shows I do actually. Honestly I wish they would increase the budgetvon them greatly. The street performances and shows really add to the experience and atmosphere. They could really use more of the magic disney offers just of course on a smaller cost effective scale IMO.

Not much into the shows at KI myself, really like Disneys shows but have not yet liked KI musicals unfortunetly.

Could be turned into a fallout shelter ride?

I too agree on the maxair being a different experience my wife and I commented on this last time.

Talk about an added bonus you do a wonderful charitable gift, get the honor of riding a ride 22 million dollar ride first, no line waiting, and get to be honored in print and video!! Wow just wow whats next a documentary? A movie? World tour? Lol None the less cheers to you all very very cool!!!!! Crazy thing is some maniacs go to great lengths and do ridiculous things to get media attention (umm britney, lynsey, octomom, any random moron breaking the law) and all it took was to care enough to help.. Its a rare beautiful change!!

We actually usually go to Kings Island first till' it gets buzy, if the lines are crazy its off to boomer-rang bay. We actually spend 50/50 between the 2. This is the blessing of the pass you have the luxuru of going back and forth no worries. As when you go once or twice you feel you have to get it all in at once. I feel visitors that come from a distance miss out as they never jump over to the bay as they came for KI after all. But the waterpark is top notch no question!

I mean if I understand the ert correctly theres good odds your gonna be on and off the ride by the time the park opens..

We too have a friend in waiting as he is not a passholder either. He is just gonna wait and or possibly sleep in the car as we ride. No harm no foul.
