  1. Thanks, I have been waiting for this. Bring a friend day is Memorial Day and it is $20. I don't quite understand why the perks are so different from park to park.
  2. Uh, were we at the same park? You definitely need to attend on a weekday, my friend. Rode Beast twice with out getting off the train. Most everything else was either walk on, or 1 train/ride wait. DB we waited for 1 train the first time, the other 2 times were SRL and only waited for 2 trains max. The second time on DB my daughter & I were in the SRL separately but some how that I don't understand we ended up riding together. At one point they were just sending multiple people from the SRL line together alternating with the regular line. It is possible that we were at the same park, but we must have zigged when you zagged. And sorry, I won't be making it down on a weekday as I am self employed and work 6 days a week. This is why I couldn't justify going a pay coaster club (joined KIC after the cutoff date) to go to RWW. Since CP CoasterMania is on a Friday-Saturday, I won't be able to do that one either.
  3. For the second trip, I did not get to ride Firehawk. Today we got there at 10:15 and it was down. Came back a couple hours later, still down. Around 2:00 we were up in the Eiffel Tower and saw it running and people in the queue, so we headed over there, but by the time we got there again it was down and this time they said it would not re-open today. So what is up with this bird and will I ever get to ride it?
  4. We just got back home. While we were not there for RWW we did have a full day at the park. Lines were short everywhere we went with the exception of when the kids rode scrambler.
  5. When we were there 2 sundays ago, the line reach all the way to the parking lot. I was shocked though it only took 20 minutes.
  6. OK I changed my avatar. I am in the picture but depending on my mood, I may look more like one or the other.
  7. Well you have to be a little forward and ask people that are standing in the queues. DB single rider will yeild the highest number of KIC people. Of course you could just get one of those nifty new shirts on the main page.
  8. As a non RWW, I like the idea of keeping the ERTs separate. More DB & Beast for me. I am also hoping that come 10:00 am that the RWW folk will be sick of FH & FoF so I can hit those with light lines.
  9. Wouldn't you be able to do both if your a GP holder going to RWW? I figure that most of the RWW won't be GP holders unless they are coming from CP area. After doing nearly 3 hours on DB the night before I don't know if I would want to see DB again for at least 8 hours. LOL
  10. I am trying to figure this our as well. I have decided not to do RWW but still go down for Sunday. Sunday, is also the first Gold Pass bring a friend day so that might add to the crowd. Honestly, I have been looking for people that want to go down, but being Mother's Day I have had no takers. Hopefully the ERT on Sunday will have all the RWW folk over at FH & FoF and leave DB & Beast to the Gold Pass folk.
  11. Very Nice. A friend just got a new toy for making masive panos http://www.gigapan.org/index.php
  12. Thanks for the Map. That helps out a bunch. I am coming from north of Columbus so that picture is a great help.
  13. Stupid question, Where is the gold pass lot. I didn't see anything marked when we went last Sunday? We parked pretty close in so it was no big deal, but later in the season I suspect it might become one.
  14. Last Sunday it took us about 20 minutes to get our PP processed. The OP was correct that if you want to get into both CP & KI you want the PP. Last Sunday they just scanned our voucher at the parking area. PP is the same as GP but at all of the CF parks. Have fun
  15. I also think that 60%+ of that crowd is going to head straight for DB.
  16. It would still be shorter walk from Rivertown to FH/FOF then from the front gate, I don't think I would have to run.
  17. How many rides can you get in DB/Beast on a Sunday ERT? My thought is to hit these 2 then head over to FH/FoF before the regular opening at 10:00am. Is the rest of the park open to walk around during the ERT or is it roped off? In order of line length, what are the longest wait rides? I would assume that DB is the longest right now, but so much depends on the load time and capacity.
  18. I am sick that I am here at work with nothing to do but surf. Seeing the lack of line for DB doesn't make things any better.
  19. Join one of the coaster clubs to go to the RWW and Coastermania at CP? It looks like I can get a family membership in the Dark Rides & Funhouse Enthusiast for $25 (looks to be the cheapest for a family). I am planning on going on the 10th anyways and the RWW includes a drink wristband for everyone. We are already Platinum Pass holders so we won't need to purchase tickets. I just can't decide if it will be worth it since I won't be able to get down to RWW till about 6-7 PM on the 9th. What would you do?
  20. I printed out a very nice single page calendar for CP to go on the fridge. When I went over to the KI site the calendar was month by month. So I made my own. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v127/col...nd-Calendar.jpg
  21. Since she already has a season pass, why not sign up for one of the $20-$25 coaster clubs and then it would be free. Cheaper then paying the $48. Since I joined a few weeks ago, I am not eligable for the KICentral membership. I have been trying to decide if it would be worth it to come down Saturday after work for the DM marathon. This would mean getting a room for the night. I have never riden FH, and the lines for FOF seem to always be long. I think longer then even than DB. I also think that Mother's Day would normally be light attendance and thus KI is putting these events on a light weekend to up the attendance to normal. Dave AKA Sulley
  22. I read it to be that Outback Shack was June - August which makes since because it is in the water park that is not open yet. In any case it is poorly written.
  23. When I called KI guest relations, I asked about the Pizza deal that is listed on the Gold Pass benefits. She told me that it was 2 slices of pie and a 20oz soda for $6.99. When we got to LaRossa's in Rivertown they didn't know anything about it but said that a lot of people had been asking for it. Did anyone else get this deal? Dave AKA Sulley
  24. We picked up one of these last Sunday. I was wondering if this might also be good at CP?
  25. How do they work this? I want to bring some friends but I also want to get in for the ERT. My wife does not ride coasters so after we go in, she could come back out to meet our friends and show the Gold/Platinum cards so they can get the $10 tickets. Is there a way I could pre-purchase the tickets for this? TIA Dave AKA Sulley
