  1. What's the policy on using copyrighted material or other people's work (photographs, logos, etc)? I'd assume they're all no-nos...
  2. They had Beast and Diamondback models at the Diamondback gift shop. Do you mean set up models of Beast and DB using Coasterdynamix sets (like the one that used to be at the main entrance to the park), or Statix models of The Beast and Diamondback trains? (I didn't get a chance to go into the DB giftshop.) I'll be kicking myself if I missed a Statix Diamondback model, since I didn't know they were making one... yet.
  3. Guitar Hero Arcade in the two gamerooms. Also Thrillseekers (I think that's the store name) on main street had Coasterdynamix's Statix Beast train for sale @ $25. I bought one and they had two left. They also had a Dragon or Scorpion model in the front window, but I didn't ask if they sold full sets.
  4. Sorry Skywriter. Pity, it's such a shame to wait for hours just to be let down. You did try the test seat though, right? I was also turned down for the same reason. They did a smart thing with the test seat by moving it outside of the main queue so that you could just walk up to it without waiting in line. There were two attendants there when I went and they would shove as hard as they could on the restraint to try to accommodate everyone on the ride if they could manage a way to do it. Alas, it's not to be for everyone.
  5. Managed to get one shot in....
  6. I'd like to see them develop Rivertown a bit more on the other side of the railroad tracks, mainly in that large wooded area that houses the ridiculously long White Water Canyon queue. At least have them put in another ride back there, or some shops or something... anything... That's always been the part of the park that bothered me most. I realize that the railroad itself is a large deterrent to traffic flow, but building a fairly wide ramp crossing over it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
  7. I haven't been on TR:TR since it switched over to The Crypt... that said, I'd like to see them gut any theming they have now and install Phantom Theater's Maestro figure into the ride. They could remove whatever is in Shiva's old location and put in the Maestro figure that was playing the organ in the old Phantom Theater queue there surrounded by a giant pipe organ mock up. As the ride starts, Maestro would play some disturbed Victorian era music that would get faster as the ride goes on. Throw in wind and fog machines coupled with strobe lights, and you have a relatively low cost installation that not only reuses material that park owns, but also brings back a bit of nostalgia. The main entrance and holding area can reuse the old portraits and figures from the rest of the original ride. Call it Maestro's Mayhem, and you're all done.
