Someone asked when 2011's ride will be announced on Facebook, and HW said that the date hasn't been set. http://www.facebook.com/HolidayWorld#!/HolidayWorld?v=wall&story_fbid=400575759537&ref=mf What do you think this means? Will HW get a new coaster, a new flat, a new slide, or what?

Because CF has realized that records don't attract the GP anymore.

The Racer cam has been stuck on that exact picture for a couple of weeks. Really? Wasn't it stuck on a nighttime picture before?
-
The Racer cam's actually working, but the I-Street cam has some bugs.

Very true . But I don't think that FD should have new trains just take the money and dump it into the "new roller coaster for KI fund". LOL!!! There are those who think that is where the Flight Deck and Racer painting money went, along with the Son of Beast operations, maintenance and insurance fund... Last I heard, it was going into the CEO's paycheck.

So it's like Python, on which the last row isn't used? -
Although, it would be nice for nostalgia...

Actually, you aren't even strapped in on DB. There's no seatbelt.

I don't have a pass

Kid 2 is correct. No one actually died while riding SoB, not even in the 2006 accident. Anyone who died because of SoB (pronounced dead at the hospital) had a preexisting condition.

They could be the footings left from the queue TV.

You can like it, on HW's Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/posted.php?id=35385539537&share_id=103798199671184&comments=1#s103798199671184 Glad the park's staying in the family instead of being bought out by a company like FUN or SIX. -
I think I saw the Eiffel Tower one when I went to KI... ...on June 9th.
-
I hate it when that happens to me Yeah, me too. I fly out every time!

I also found this, which is apparently about moving Coney's rides to KI from 1971. http://cgi.ebay.com/CIRCUS-American-Business-Kings-Island-rides-Coney-/350185806242?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5188b359a2#ht_824wt_911

Searched Google, and it looks like it.

President of Holiday World has passed

Six Flags tweeted to Holiday World about this. http://twitter.com/SixFlags/status/16166504809 I would actually consider Will a kind of celebrity, at least in the amusement park industry. He pretty much revived the wooden coaster, showing everyone that wooden coasters can be just as fun as steel ones. He will go down in history, like John Miller, John Allen, and all of the great people that have been in the amusement industry. -

Video from WLKY. I'm actually in the video, but that is trivial right now. -
When did they say that? The only thing that I can think of is that arrowdynamics.com redirects to S&S's site. Either way, Vekoma provides parts for some Arrow coasters (like the swinging suspended model). But do you have to buy their trains first, or can you just buy parts? It would be great if KI bought Vekoma trains and renamed Flight Deck to Afterburn. Maybe extend the ride to the SoB area, or if SoB will reopen, have it go over and under SoB and come back, and put in a new (or even used) invert?

This is sad, and my first trip to HW is today. At least the park is open; that is what he would have wanted.
