That would be me! I have a DSLR with a nice 80-200mm lens.

Can someone give me an example of a dark ride, please?
-
^ well if the line was closed and the ride was down, they could turn it off

Hey, this is Cincinnati we are talking about. Around here, real snow is defined as ANY accumulation on the ground (not necessarily sidewalks) even if it is not a measurable amount (ie a scattered dusting, as shown above). At least, that's my definition. I think official definition is it has to be measurable by the people whose job it is to measure snowfall accumulation Side note, Banshee looks even more pretty in the snow!

They should name SCG Never Open Grill lol

And I thought *I* used excessive punctuation...

It's not all about making the paint adhere better but making it smooth. You don't want fresh paint over old peeling paint for a few reasons. It doesn't look good and won't last as long. If the old paint is peeling and you put new paint on it it looks bad and before long the new paint will peel off too in the spots where it was peeling before. You don't go town to bare metal, but sand it and smooth everything out first, then apply primer and then your top color then usually a clear coat to seal it, depends what you're painting.

^ I would sure hope they look different and more empty seeing as how it's now fall and most trees have shed their leaves (yes I know this isn't what you meant, but I couldn't resist.)

Nice lol Aaron doesn't scare easily at all, and I can imagine it would be VERY annoying to have a KID bug you all the time lol you would have gotten more of a reaction out of me than him if you had attempted. And I am glad you didn't lol

I thought the large Adena construction trailer had a bathroom in it. That's always been my guess, that the large red one is their break room/bathroom trailer.
-
They may have. Prep work began around two weeks ago. Don't know what all was involved with that but I'm sure sandblasting or something to smooth everything out was done before applying new paint.

It already looks better!!!!

Thank you lingering evil cold that I've had since Halloween plus lack of a lot of sleep last week PLUS a pretty bad reaction to Aleve didn't make for a fun Monday or first day back to work... But it went well and I survived!

Seeing as how much rain we got Sunday, probably little to nothing. Not a good idea to be driving heavy construction equipment on very soft ground. My guess would be more station work, but we don't have a close up view on the progress of that except for when Don is nice enough to provide us with a photo of that, like he did last week I can tell you didn't check Twitter...I was at work. I'm sick. I came home did a quick check of the forum and went to sleep, so no, I did not check twitter. I rarely use twitter. EDIT: I checked Twitter. No relevant info at all as far as progress yesterday. Just a picture of the base of the first drop. A drop that has been up for awhile now. Today? No. Yesterday? Yes. There was a picture of more work on the station I posted that this morning after checking the tweets for yesterday. And all this to tell me there was a picture posted that showed what I already said in my initial post - likely station work.... Seems like a lot of typing, quoting, and time wasting just to say what I already said.... Whatever floats your boat I suppose.... *shakes head in disbelief and walks away slowly*

If you're on Tapatalk, simply tap on the post you want to quote and tap the first icon in the bar above. You can also quote multiple posts at once (tap each post then tap the icon to the right of " selected"). I don't think you can do that on the iPhone version....

I just don't get why they would PAINT over it if they were removing it other than the obvious it's a lot cheaper than digging it up and pouring new concrete. I mean paint fades so I would think with all the people walking on it and the sun it would fade fairly quick.... I don't care either way what happens to it. I mean, I think it looks kind of stupid now with no water tower, but at the same time I have no emotions one way or the other about it. If it's kept, cool. If it goes, cool

I don't know coaster abbreviations other than most of CP's and KI's. What coaster is/was BBW and where is/was it?
-
I can still see it. I don't think it's being removed at all.

Don't forget secure fitting goggles so you don't get dirt in your eyes and clothes you don't mind dirtying

The same night (10/26) we also saw a dad tell the undertaker to go scare his daughter and her friends the undertaker didn't really do anything and they ran off screaming. He walked up to them, stared at them, they froze up but observed him, then he slightly lurched forward at them with an evil smirk, and they screamed very loud and ran off. It was great.

You sure called that one right. That's why I never believe these things until proven true, but instead just speculate and that's remarkable for me considering I'm gullible!

And most females lol. The last Saturday of the Haunt we were walking through Rivertown and my fiancé overheard a conversation between a scare actor and a kid outside of Reds Grill. Kid told him to scare someone, the next people to walk by. That happened to be us, apparently. My fiancé said the kid pointed to him and told the scare actor "scare him!!" ... The scare actor said "too big to scare" LOL. My fiancé is 6'1 and about 385. It was hilarious to hear the conversation, though! They target me big time. I'm 5'3 and 100ish pounds lol thankfully I'm usually quiet when I am scared so if one scares me they may get a slight jump out of me but no screams. Idiot drivers scaring me is a different story. lol
