  4. So it's $108 now for a 2004 season pass?
  5. Well.... that's cool but, I'm not renewing my pass, I am just buying a 2004 pass because I didnt get one this year, will I still get free parking, gold pass, and all that neat stuff?
  6. He said you "may" be able to get free parking. If they did do that you'd think it would be for the rest of the season. I really dont know anything other than this is a great offer considering you get almost a half a season included in your 2004 pass. I called PKI to confirm this but they still dont have the prices yet.... so I guess if you want any more info you should call after August 4th. Thanks again Andy! -Nate
  7. I havent been to PKI and rode FoF with the new lights, but I think will still be a great ride. I'll be coming down to PKI in a few weeks so I'll check out the new FoF lights then. I know when you ride with all of the lights on it's still cool but you can see the supports and stuff.... guess I'll find out here shortly what it's like. EDIT: I have been on FoF after the new "lights effect" change, and I find I like it better with the new lights.
  8. That's great man, thanks again 4 the great info!
  9. Maby it'll be cheaper than buying them next year? I heard they change the price, like first they sell them cheap.... then the prices get higher. If they are cheaper I'll definitly get mine in August, Thanks.
  10. Can you buy the 2004 passes now? If so, how much are they? Thanks, Nathan
  11. 37,000 That's not what I heard. You heard wrong then. I was told wrong. okay cool. the quote box thing looks cool with our one line replies. Yes, I agree Look deeper into the quote box......deeper..... haha
  12. Come on! It's not that bad.... You just need a couple of pain killers after you get off. That would be cool, seeing weird al on the SoB!
  13. Like Tanner said, if anything had been heavily modified, they would have closed the ride down for a while to make the changes. What exactly happend to SoB to make it smoother? They could have worked on it at night in the dark to make some changes, but I doubt that. Mabye just certain sections of the track were replaced with new track to make it smoother? I dont know, but for me, SoB was definitly worth a few bumps in the track now and then. Next time I come I'll see if the track is still smooth and less rough like you said. I hope they keep the SoB nice and smooth, but if they dont it's no big deal either.
  14. Yeah, The Beast at night is the best. I voted Beast cause Beast at night wasnt there.
  15. Okay...
  16. Rivertown
  17. And when you go, dont forget to save a night-ride for The Beast. If you've ridden it before at night you know what I'm talking about. And don't forget to check out the Son, some say it hurts too much but it's worth a bump or two, better yet three or four. Have fun exploring the new Kings Island.
  18. I had that very same thought. What if the magnetic brakes on Drop Zone were to fail? Is there a backup brake in case the regular ones fail? I believe how Drop Zone works is that it has a clamp that pulls it up the tower, when it reaches the top of the tower, the clamps release, it drops. Then the Magnetic Brakes (magnetic feild) kick on and it is slowly stopped. It would really suck if they went out/malfunction.
  19. *post a reply, Yogi*
  20. what are these rides? The tornado: A wisdom ride. It spins 4 passengers per car. 8 cars in total. The Hurricane: Dartron Rides (similar model called Downdraft) kind of like Jump2. (same basic motion) Casino: Possibly a "Hi-roller" ride with a different name. As for the rides being put at KI? No Way! They could make a Giant version of Gravitron (Wisdom) and theme it to aliens, like FoF.
  21. Also I think they wont let you go on drop zone if your sholders are too wide. The restraint wont go down or somthing, that has happend to someone I know.
  22. I'd like to go to PKI one time with out it being crowded and having 1 hour or less lines. Every time I go it seems every ride in Action Zone has a 1 hour + wait. Really bad on those hot days.
  23. I hope it was for medicinal purposes. *drug use*
  24. Dont forget that mouthful you get on a nightride on The Beast.
  25. I rode with the lights on one time, I like it better dark. Riding with sunglasses on makes it darker.
