There is only so much they can do. Like someone said the intercoms aren't that loud, but I think that lady was overreacting because its kind of common sense if there's a severe thunder storm or whatever just go to one of the many buildings to take shelter and if there was a tornado very close i guarantee that would make sure everybody had specific instructions. To me that was a pretty lame story for them to pick.

haha yea! I had butterflies in my stomach and everything else when we were waiting in line haha and my heart was about to pound out of my chest on the lift hill!

I forgot to tell you guys that I also road the Firehawk for the first time too along with Diamondback. I was very nervous to ride both of them. We rode Diamondback before Firehawk and let me tell you. i was soooo nervous to ride Diamondback haha but it was so amazing and it's my new favorite ride. Firehawk broke down and they said it wouldn't be open for another 3-5 hours. so we went back later and it was open. I think i was more nervous to ride Firehawk than Diamondback haha but anyways the wait was 2 hours! but we wanted to ride it since many of us hadn't. After the long wait we finally got our turn. It was a great ride and defiantly up there on my favs list but it seemed short. I don't want to say i felt like it was overrated but i don't think its worth a 2 hour wait in my opinion. When all is said and done; they are both really good rides especially my new favorite Diamondback! thanks for reading

while i was in line for Diamondback this girl was talking to her friend and she said. "I can't wait to go under the water pit. Its so hot and this is the ride you get soaked on!" i simply laughed haha I was thinking where in the world do people get this stuff?

I absolutely loved the front seat! I've only rode in the front and middle, but the front felt much faster! I'd like to see how the back is sometime too.

I'd be interested to know how you only waited 10 minutes for the very last car of the day - I'll assume you were excited and lost track of time (I was but a couple of trains ahead of you and the wait was longer) the ride right before the last one of the day, we were waiting to get on they had a minor technical difficulty and that became fixed about 9:50-ish. I'm guessing since they were announcing it that, that is what made the line so short. but we got off and looked at our pictures then i ran to the entrance and asked if we could still get in line. he said "its 959 so you have one minute to get passed me haha" so I ran and got my friends in the gift shop area and we literally ran and still made it in line we were the cut off for at the entrance literally because he told some people that were a few short steps behind us that they couldn't go because it was 10:00 and the line was only winding twice before we got to the stairs. i promise. maybe 11 minutes *and i was excited too lol*

So I went to Kings Island yesterday and I rode Diamondback for the first time! We only had to wait 40 minutes! It was so amazing!!! Its my new favorite ride! we rode it 4 times and the line got shorter each time! we were on the very last cart of the day and it we only waited 10 minutes for it! so amazing! just thought i'd let you guys know since i was so nervous to ride it haha

so i'm going to Kings Island this Saturday and i'm really excited cause it will be my first time this season. I love all of the coasters and rides. The only ones that i haven't road are Firehawk and Diamondback. I'm really nervous for the both of them. I love Flight of Fear and drop zone, actually i love all of them! so i just wanted to know if you think i should ride Firehawk and Diamonback? and if i've road everything else (and love everything) i should be able to handle them right? thanks a million
