i am a bit lost also , thinking "mouse Coaster" sounds like the fairly odd coaster and the double ferris wheel is the arm with buckets that go up on both sides and spins. However KI had that once before.

some things other then Nick-U becomes Planet Snoopy in 2010 getting a bit off topic.

I went yesterday for about 4 hours and got about a 1/2 hour to 45 mins of good hard down-pour then it cleared up.

The entrance is cable-tied. The exit is the one that is bolted and has a potted plant. ahhhhhh......well darn it ...i didnt go to look at the exit......i guess they more concerned with ppl exiting the ride then entering the ride, LMAO.....ok it was funny when i typed it

well i have to kinda agree due to the fact i grew up in the hanna barbara era....i thought KI lost touch when it went to Paramount........i been comming to ki from the early 80s when i was a youngster (just like most of us) and we adapted to the change, and of course there been alot of changes i didnt like (enchanted voyage, cough, cough) large log flume, and many others the vine covered entrance to HB, and the dolphin show. omg i almost forgot river town and the train ride when the indians shot at us. ahhhhhhhh those were the days

Well I went to KI today. Mainly went to check on Huant progress, they are adding alot of themes in the yards and down coney mall. the other project i had was to take photos of all 18 Rides in the nick universe area. I took a photo of the ride sign and the main ride. the main reason being to reflect on the current speculation about the area (nick_U) being phased out this off season. I arrived around 12:45 pm and immedatly noticed that there wasnt alot of ppl there.I headed to Nick-U to start taking photos. of course since it wasnt packed i had to hop on a few rides. I rode the SDHC, got right on no wait. i walked to the wild thornberry log flume, it was down for repair. Never recall seeing the ride empty ( that looked odd) i snapped a few photos. I could hear and see the Maint crew hammering away. next stop was diamond back, oh yea the guy that lost his keys...i may have found them in the net, lol and yes i took photos of that. i did alot of walking and looking. and yes the splash down (Diamondback) looks gross brown thick looking. I walked over to confirm that the entrance to SOB was blocked and BOLTED with a potted plant in front of it....well no bolts only cable ties and no plant. I walked up to the front area, thanks KI for those lil free cups of Ice water, had 2 of them. I noticed that there was NO shows going on today even the schedualed ones werent playing. Alot of the shops were closed as well. well i crammed 4 hours in a short pharagraph. i took cool photos but i dont know how to post them here . can anyone help?

well lets just see if they anounce anythig monday. once the anouncement has been made they we can ask CF and KI the questions we have.

I mean it is what it is. we can argue this topic all day, is it really somthing we can change? either we take our kids or we dont. i have 2 kids that have NO idea who snoopy is, but when i showed them the other parks that have snoopy thier first statment was " oh daddy, will you take us there"

I'd say...sadly no. But, this could be return of Haunted Theater. From what I heard, they still had all the stuff. Or a new ride will get put in there. Also, Spongebob will be leaving Action Theatre. So there will be a new movie for 2010 in there. that would be awsome "the return of Phantom Theater"

now wait a min.......lol......there are plenty of names to stick on that coaster they could add a second set of tracks (racer) and call it snoopy and the red baron

This is Cedar Fair we're talking about. Please see Disaster Transport, Crypt and Backlot Stunt Coaster. These are harsh economic times for a company that still has a large sum of debt. If you read the quarterly reports last year Kinzel mentioned how Kings Island with Diamondback received quite a large sum of the company's capital budget expenditures, wonderland the year before. I'd imagine a lot of budget will be going to the intimidator coasters and with multiple parks getting Planet Snoopy I'd wager that a cheap re-theme is coming if in fact Kings Island does get it. Not that it would be bad, it could end up good. Just not setting my hopes high. i will have to agree, there wont be alot of time in off season to re theme 18 rides plus weather permiting , also dealing with the SOB issue

now what do you think ??? Planet Snoopy and the Peanuts Gang will replace Nickelodeon Universe and Scooby-Doo. SDHC safe?
