  1. AWSOME!!!! is KI your home park then?
  2. heres what i would suggest ...start introducing snoopy now.....that way when you take them they will be like OH OH theres Snoopy. thats what i am doing with my 2 kids. I am going to find a few peanuts dvds at blockbuster let them watch them. then they can form their own thoughts.
  3. yes good point. and since there is plenty of time to tell our children that there is a change it will make opening day 2010 exciting.
  4. Well by the way some people have responded to the changed I beg to differ. But good answer!!!
  5. ok, I just have to ask the parents out there........Now that we know Nick-U is leaving, and Snoopy is moving it. How many of you are NOT bringing your children to KI based on the change....(wow this would have been a good POLL). And remeber this question is based on your choice cause most young children cant drive....lmao.
  6. yea yea, thats what i ment, and didnt CF have to pay out a settlement? thats kinda what i ment by debt
  7. What money? RCCA is, by all accounts, judgment proof. . . And as between Cedar Fair and CBS, the acquisition agreement would specify who was to receive any proceeds, were any ever collected. ok i thought i heard, and correct me if i am wrong....that CF took on a few contracted debts when they bought the park.....like SOB that had problems and the tried to SUE the maker and they was like bankrupt.....please correct me if i am wrong.
  8. i would be like "GET ME DOWN FROM HERE"
  9. TY Andrew!!!!! i am sure that all the info get a bit confusing at times.
  10. the more ppl on the trains and more weight on the trians seem to impact the roar.
  11. i think there will be alot of parents in your shoes. , it will also be exciting to make that right hand turn into the new Planet Snoopy.
  12. It not just KI going through a re theme there are several other CP parks also. like what was stated time and time again was the fact that it must be very expencive to renew for all the parks. Lets face it since Nick-U was put in its gained in popularity. So what they paid back then for all the parks could have tripled in cost now to renew now. CP hasnt to my knowledge, give a true responce to the change but we can only speculate its due to cost. they are bugeting for the company. i look at it this way....if they didnt reduce cost in some areas then perhaps they may have to close some parks down. I am sure there is a good reason for whats been done. with that said yes i will miss nick-u, and yes i will adapt to the change. Is there somthing i could do to keep the change from happening ? no.
  13. On second thought it does...NO SEASON PASSES FOR YOU!!! (And by you, I mean EVERYONE) JK i just feel those ppl that came alot through the season would only drop their vists to maybe once or twice a season.
  14. Can I ask where that is at and how tall it is? That ride looks like it would be terrifying, especially to someone who is a bit leary of heights. Magical Midway. Saw it on tv today. 230ft and It goes up to 54 mph. lmao , yea i saw that last night also on the travel channel. i thought WOW weeeeeee
  15. thats what i got out of the reading
  16. Season passes would be custom made under my plan. Decide what you want, and add it up: -Gold Perks ($20) -Platinum Perks ($50+Must Have Gold) -Ride Roller Coasters ($40) -Ride Flatrides ($20) -Waterpark ($30) -Ride Everything ($80) (Replaces above 3 options if chosen) -Unlimited Food ($60) -Unlimited Parking ($25) You can also customize the image of your season pass, ala like a Capital One Credit Card (which I don't have)! A "fully loaded" Platinum Season Pass, with all perks, would be $235. But remember, you get UNLIMITED FOOD, UNLIMITED DRINKS, AND UNLIMITED PARKING ALL SEASON LONG! And for EVERY Cedar Fair park...Cedar Point, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Canada's Wonderland, Michigan's Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Carowinds...etc etc... -Ride Everything ($80) (Replaces above 3 options if chosen) for one day? or for whole season?
  17. Scooby joined the Peanuts gang? cool man! hmmmmmmm, no comment
  18. 5 dollar, 5 dollar foot longs
  19. That might happen. But there are parks that are successful that use this system, Knoebels uses it. Here are their prices, which I used to base mine on: http://www.knoebels.com/rates.asp I think Indiana Beach might do this too...yep, they do. But they charge $30 for a ride-all-day pass. Considering how many rides KI has, a ride-all-day pass might end up being over $50...well, it already is $42.99 for the entire park. $29 if you get a discount. well......if that ever did happen i would demand cheaper food and not 3.00 for small soda
  20. And then they would spread it to their other parks... Millennium Force $15.00, re-rides $10.00... Me: I'm going to Holiday World or Six Flags instead! Screw this! omg DELETE thread...lmao ......jk......it would be so expencive for a large family to go to ki!! those ppl that like to ride DB 40 times in one day ......that will be 150.00 please.
  21. ahhh cool , thanks for that info.
  22. Case in hand, if they cared about guests .......should the food be so high at cost? No its high to make up for other areas they may not make the money......money , money ,money.
  23. yea but Andrew found the SOB sign in the sign shop against the wall a few weeks ago. he took a photo of it
  24. I think so......now just have to wait for those new boards to age:P
