It looks great! That lift hill is going to be steep!
-
Last year, it wasn't that bad, but its much better for crowds if you go the Sunday before. I'd say closing day has a about a 10-15 min wait for rides while other Sundays in the month are all walk ons.

I second that its purple, and I wouldn't lie. I agree that it does look red on the webcams, but it reallt does look purple when your at the park.

See I think they would start near the pretzel loop and hack there. If they build the dive loop l, lift hill and loop through the hill next, the kind if just blocked themselves in. The would now have to go all the way around by FD to move the heavy equipment. I know this probably won't happen but to me it makes the most sense.

It's crazy how much track they put up today. The brake run is almost done!
-
I have always thought the station looks small, but I'm sure it will work!
-
It's looking good! I feel like they slowed down a bit this week (that's just me).

This video makes me sad.....

That's great! This baby will be loud! Opening day can't get here fast enough!

Only this. I'm content here. I can get all my amusement news here in a nice and friendly environment.

Sorry for double post. Don tweeted that the first piece of track was installed today, I don't see where that was, does anyone else? Sorry if this was already mentioned.

Didn't they have multiple camera views for Diamondback? I hope they do this soon for Banshee.

KD's website has the following listed on their thrill rides section: IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are working with the ride’s manufacturer and anticipate that Intimidator 305 will reopen later this Fall. We will release additional information as it becomes available on our website. I honestly thought that I305 would be down until 2014. This sounds like they may have it back up for Haunt.

Maverick. I think its beautiful. I close second is Diamondback.

It wasn't needed for Diamondback and some other high capacity rides, but that was the first time I was at the park this year. I wanted to get a alot out of it. That's the only reason we bought them. It got a little bit more crowded around 2:00 PM.

My friends and I went up to the park on Sunday to hang out and check out Banshee. We got there around 10:30 and bought our fast passes. (This was my first time buying a fast pass, it was great!) After we got our passes we walked over to Flight Deck and took a quick ride on that and Invertigo. We then went over to Diamondback and rode it twice both in the back row, my favorite. We then went to The Beast and rode in the back seats. This was the most uncomfortable ride I had ever been on. It most have been the seat I was in because it was unbearable. We then rode Vortex and had lunch at Larossa's. After that we went over to Diamondback and rode it two more times, one in the back and one in the front (seeing a pattern here?). After that we went to Drop Tower back to back and rode Delirium back to back. We then took a small break for drinks and headed to FoF. It was a very good ride, but nothing special. Next, some of my friends took a break and three of us went on WindSeeker, I always feel like I am the only one who likes that ride. After that we went on a second ride on Vortex. At this point I wanted to get my 100th ride on Diamondback, so we walked back over there and took two more rides on DB to get a total of 101, once again, both in the back. After this we were very tired and went to chill in Starbucks for a bit. Once we were cooled off we went to ride Adventure Express to get a good look at Banshees footers. We then walked around the park a it and went to the Eiffel Tower to get some pictures of Diamondback and Banshee. We were getting very tired so we took three more rides on Diamondback, one in the middle and one in the back, and one in the front. We then headed to Delirium to get a last look at Banshee before we headed out. It was a fantastic day at the park and a great day to hang out with my friends. It was a little hot but the Fast Passes were great and I got to see a close up look at Banshee. I know I almost never do PTR's, and I know they are pretty bland, but I just wanted to share this trip. Thanks for reading guys! Here are the pictures: I will end it will this picture. It looks like we are modeling for the Hangover 4 Movie!

I haven't either, its a love hate relationship to me. I like how quickly the line moves and how neat the station looks when they assign seats, but I also like to pick where I sit. Like yesterday, my friends and I went to the park and lapped Diamondback quite a bit. For my 100th ride I wanted to sit in the very back, and we did just that! No questions asked! On a side note, has anyone else noticed how much Diamondbacks lift hill supports have faded over the past year?
-
I noticed that too. The ones farthest away from Slingshot are gone. The ones near SS are still standing.
-
That is for sure!
-
There ya go!

That's a nice article! Thanks for sharing! It says the ride has six inversions in that article! Oppps!
-
Supports are showing up like crazy now! Its crazy to look at that photo taken at 10 and seeing the changes that have happened in just four hours!

I'll be there the 25th. Hope you have a good time and I may see you there!
