Now the question is...Will Mean Streak be on the map next year? If there is significant damage, which there must be a little with season closure, then I can see CP getting rid of it....

I dont get all this hype about them not deserving it, they are a great park with the best selection on rides in the country. Just because they make some bad decisions with other parks doesnt mean that CP takes any blame...

I know a little person, and the title "Who wants to see a Midget Bleed?" is so offensive that I can't actually believe thats their slogan.

Anybody else find this very offensive in some ways? The title just does not seem right to me...

It was a below average year for me. Son of Beast, not my favorite ride, but a Top 3 coaster in my opinion at Kings Island, was closed, which really made the trips not as fun. Boo Blasters was very dissapointing for me, as a kid I liked Phantom Theater, Scooby was terrible, but it was scooby doo so I liked it. Now its just the ride with no Scooby, different plastic cutouts, loud annoying buzzing guns, and the fog effect is cool, but its quick and over with very quickly. It also was badly timed when I rode Boo Blasters. Planet Snoopy is just Nick U with different colors and names. The Biggest event to me was Son of Beast being closed all year. As I stated above it really dissapointed me. As for Cedar Fair, before the WindSeeker announcement I would say average, but after their decision to once again add a big ride to Kings Island, and one equal to the same ride at CP really impresses me and I gained lots more respect for CF. I would say Good, but with some irks.

Darn, maybe it could still be a small wooden coaster in Holidog's funtown...

That new report was very interesting to say the least.

I have a map from every year 1998 to 2010. Pretty much my whole time going to KI that I can remember. I also have 5 scooby doo stuffed animals that I would always try to win every year in HB land.

I really would like to see a twisted Woodie. I could see it in Action Zone, maybe where SOB currently sits, but I dont know if they will rebuild a wood coaster on the spot if they decide to take SOB down.

It seems they may be planning on keeping that loop as a tribute to GASM. Everything is down now except for that one loop. (And a tiny part of the lift hill)

I hope its not 400, for some reason a WindSeeker being the tallest structure in the park just doesnt seem right.

I think it will be a medium to large flat ride. I still think its too early for a coaster and they added to the waterpark last year.

I would like to see something like Maverick, but without the launch hill, just a straight launch.

Excluding some, yes. But look at CP for example, by that whole "500,00 and we will tell you hints about the new ride", they got their fan base to 500,000 at facebook. Now that when CP wishes to announce something or say something, it is going to reach many of that 500,000, which is much more than the fans who read the onpoint. Some people are excluded, but many more are included that would not have checked CP's website for a blog.

Since I live far away I would stay and endure the wait.

Its a shame. The Facebook aspect of marketing and sharing information has risen in the last couple of years, and many companies are turning towards it to share news.
