  1. congrats. i would love to be closer to even 100 but i dont live that close and didnt get to make that many trips this year. Thats ok i love every second im on DB. 20 ride is pretty good i think for the few trips we made.
  2. awesome trip report. i was wondering some of the sme things about those aliens behind panda express! omg how did you do Sling Shot in shorts i would have been freezing.
  3. great pics, looks like you had a good time dispite the big crowds.
  4. First, it's not only rude, but ridiculously absurd to equate someone's singing and dancing skills with whether or not they're in "cummunity college." Also, it's spelled community college... If you're going to try to insult someone's intelligence (or, their dancing skills which are somehow related to intelligence... err..?) then you might want to spell an educational institution correctly... And about them not making it in Hollywood, I bet a lot of people said that about some of the original Kings Island performers... What was that one's name again.? Oh yeah, Carmen Electra. And let's see, a five-weekend show at a local amusement park? It probably is just a "hobbie" (sic) for most of them. If only we could get some of the 50+ year old grand dames of Broadway to play sexy vampires at a small-town Ohio amusement park's seasonal show. How likely is it that any of them will meet Prince and get to use their stripper moves to sell "stripper areobic workouts"?
  5. im probably going to be flogged or something for this but.... i dont think that the dancers/singers in this show are that great. They seem like cummunity college grade level that chose this as a minor or just a hobbie on the side. If they tried to do make it on broadway or in hollywood they wouldnt make it. I do agree about not like sports and all the you were talking about but i LOVE my coasters, and i have seen GOOD live entertainment so i know how to spot it and yes the shows were decent but they werent all your kicking them up to be and yes there were alot of the same moves that strippers use.
  6. oh right in urgent scare. it was a good idea but our two pics were the same cuz we didnt move. But yes they give you the option to buy at the end of the haunt. I think Urgent scare is the only on that has the picture option.
  7. i havent done them all but put death row only because i thought it was to much stobe, and it took me a few min to recoup from it. kudos to the people who work it and stay in tthere all night i dont know how you do it. 5 min was way to much strobe light for me.
  8. that is a great article and a brave boy. i wasnt that brave at that age. i saw a 4 yr old goin thru a haunt last weekend. i thought it was crazy but i guess everyone's different.
  9. when i was there sat and sun all we saw of nick merchendise left was hats and they are 75% off. But there is alot of scooby stuff left.
  10. ^ that i always wondered as well. Maybe cuz im not much of a jumper. i mean why not have closer re-entry piont for some of these fpr when the line is short. For ex. ive seen the Db gift shop, but what i really want is a faster way to get back to the line when the line is at the botton of the stairs lol. you know without having to duck under the extra rail or go thru the gift shop and back around. And there is no way on beast, without going all the way around.
  11. wow that is crazy. i wasnt there that day. Sad when people act like that.
  12. Dang i didnt see them. i walked right by the icee place.
  13. we went thru real early, were within the first 30 minutes
  14. ok not to bust anyones chops........ but last year my fav haunt was the cemetary because it was really foggy, there was tons of statues, the staff was painted up like statues and you couldnt see them until you almost walked into them and they would move towards you quickly and startle the crap outta ya!! Big kudos. But this year not so much fog, more hellos and screams, didnt like it as much. My fav was def. urgent scare. it just had to be said. People popping under, over and around the hanging plastic, and outta beds, and the outside crew was great. Loved it.
  15. im pretty sure i saw you and a few other kicers. i was trying to make sure i saw all the kicers from urgent scare.
  16. He was so funny scarying the people that were trying to walk up the urget scare exit. I didnt see to many creepers walking around until it got later maybe cuz they were all up front and i was parked outside of urgent scare like i was waiting in line for concert tickets 40 min early. lol
  17. for myself i would want the phil and lil statue thingy and then for my kids i would want the uniqua statue over by the swingalong and the avatar statue (since he is probably gonna be chopped off at the feet lol), but only if im in the words of forrest gump a gozillionaire.
  18. i got a 90%. i had guessed on the movie one and i got the tight rope walker one wrong.
  19. ok previous years haunt workers. Im from way outta town and this will only be my second time comeing to the haunt (loved it last year btw). What is the best day of the week to go, like the lowest turn out? I wanna do as many of the haunt attractions as i can. Last year we only got 3 in, so i was hoping to do them all or as many as i can fit in the time frame.
  20. I'm pretty sure you mean "The Beast", not "The Breast". heh yeah sorry about that.
  21. my fav is this blond guy at beast, super thin kinda short. He is so funny with his "enjoy your ride on The Beast AHHHHH" "Welcome back train 2 how was your ride on the breast AHHHHHHH"
  22. I like to go forward up the first lift. When i go backwards i face the ground and the restraints are a bit uncomfortable for me. I normally don't ride Invertigo though because while i'm on the ride my eyes roll back into my head and i look like i'm having a seizure! does anyone else have this trippy problem? First i love your pic haunt_mistress09 i also dont like the leaning on the restraint so i only sit in the facing the sky on the way up seats. And now after seeing another Invertigo get stuck for a couple hours i will continue to only get that seat because i would hate to be stuck facing down makes my heart beat faster just thinking about it.
  23. very good point, but i would maybe rather not know they werent being used then actually see thier dirty hands in it. lol
  24. one afternoon at Festhaus my husband had the burger and went to get the lettuce and stuff from the condiment bar and there were no tongs. This was like 2 in the afternoon after the lunch rush and people were just dipping their hands in and getting lettuce and pickles and stuff it was GROSS. and then when we told the food people they just got tongs and dropped them on the bar not caring that the food was horriblely contaminated.
  25. I'd love to go, but I can't see myself paying for admission one day when I can just wait until the next day and get in for free, lol. I hope everyone that goes has fun though, and that KI has managed to keep the bulk of the haters out how are you going to get in for free the following day? On the calendar it says its not open. Is there some secret?
