  1. "86 the frosted flakes" While staying at the run down Days Inn Kings Island, we made a joke about getting to breakfast promptly at 6 a.m. in order to get first dibs on the minimal amount of food they would likely serve. After we returned to our room, I made it look like I was going to steal her generous portion of Frosted Flakes from her bowl. While she was defending, she knocked the entire contents allllll over the floor, and giggles "86 the frosted flakes." It was hilarious because she just learned the restaurant lingo a few hours prior and went to Kings Island without a snack.
  2. 1. A sunny and cloudless summer morning because my mind tells me I have all day to enjoy the weather and rides. 2. Sunset on a warm and clear fall evening because I have all evening to enjoy rides and Halloween festivities.
  3. My sister and I have a far drive, so we try to maximize our time. We will start with Diamondback during ERT, and then check out Planet Snoopy and the old SDTHC (maybe ride). If we see SoB working, then we will head there next.
  4. I agree, and blue moon ice cream does not cut it.
  5. I think this is my calling to reread the book...
  6. I assume you mean the CP pass? I thought the CP pass was far nicer than the KI pass. The card itself seemed to be better quality, too. Yes, a CP platinum pass [for the 2008 season]. The card is a bit flimsy; gift cards today are firmer. After years of having my picture on the pass, I ended up getting spoiled. So when I got five strangers inside star shapes, I was disappointed.
  7. At least your 2008 pass did not have random people riding a roller coaster and bright colors to emphasize fun times. Yuck.
  8. Time: 3 hrs. 43 mins. Miles: 220.82 But go figure Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom is 15 mins and 9.94 miles away, and I go shopping at Walmart that is less than one minute away from the park...
  9. I heard they're thinking about tipping the Eiffel Tower over and retheming it "2012". Lmao
  10. has not set her status

  11. Lol, and Boomerang Bay was the setting...
  12. I only went through twice early in the season so I forget the details but... When it was dusk, the Frontier Trail was converted to Starlight Experience. Guests would walk from one side to the other while enjoying the sights, and I think music played. The four seasons--autumn, winter, spring, and summer--each had their own section. The trees--even really high branches--were decorated in lights; TONS of lights. The colors of the lights were associated with their season. For example, the winter section had light blue lights. Some of these lights were stationary while others "danced." An example is the winter blue lights that moved from top to bottom representing falling snow. Also each season had one float (totaling four) that featured the Peanuts gang and something associated with that season. In short, it was a walk through light show with the four seasons and Peanuts incorporated.
  13. Aww, the park is closed Sunday April 18th. Guess I'm waiting until the following weekend to make the four hour drive worth while.
  14. Seeing the canoes makes me want to watch the Brady Bunch's "Cincinnati Kids"! "The floating bucket ride" (my nickname; aka Sky Ride at CP) looks likes it's about to break any minute.
  15. I picked BLSC because it is visible but still leaves a little to the imagination. For example, I see fire flames. What is really going on?
  16. SD&THC because I love and grew up on Scooby. Also it was a dark ride, I got to shoot things, I competed for points, and I only sat with my party (no strangers). Plus it provided a unique experience that my home park Cedar Point was unable to offer.
  17. I did not have a chance to ride it, but my sister's friend felt nauseated the rest of the day. Makes me want to try it out even more.
  18. I like Spongebob, but it does not beat my favorite cartoons as a child.
  19. Cedar Point's Starlight Experience was on their Frontier Trail before Halloweekends started. After Halloweekends started, Fright Zone, a terror zone from previous years, reopened in the same spot. However, the lights on the trees remained and were changed to colors associated with Halloween, but not all the lights were on. This goes to show that during summerish time the area can be the Starlight Experience and during The Haunt an outdoor trail can remain.
  20. Overall the location might not be the best, if true. For example, the seating arraignment with where guests are to stand/ sit without creating a disturbance to other guests. 1. I want to take a ride up the Eiffel Tower during showtime because I do not care about the show. It appears the line is longer than average, and people are hanging out at the top trying to watch the show. Forget the line and crowded observation deck. I'm slightly frustrated. 2. Wait, I was already frustrated once I entered the park. There was a mob of people standing on the walkways leaving little or no room for incoming guests to navigate; the walk seemed longer and further. Guess those roped off areas and crowd control employees could not take better control. 3. Oh yeah, the family walking in front of me came to a dead stop to observe what was going on to their left. I would not care if this has not happened a few times already. 4. I am feeling very annoyed so I want to look in the gift shops and cool off. Wait, people are spilling into the stores and cluttering the entrances. What a great way to start my day off!
