I think they will add a Huss Jump2. Looks like a fun flat, I wouldnt mind having one.

I think all this stuff is intresting. I want to know about the tower johnny cables, the are supposedly kept by The Beast's second lift. I also want to know what PKI keeps in the storage sheds hidden way back in the woods. Some more things about The Bat is that some of The Vortex's stairs going up the lift are actually parts of The bats. The Vortex and bat also use the same station. Also If you look in the storage shed for The Vortex I think The moon shape cut out have something to do with The Bat.
-
What exactly is the story of the cables from the grad night incident being kept back by The Beast second lift hill?
-
Last year I went and did all the attractions and they sucked so I assumed the same for this year, except this year the lines were way longer. The only one they ever had that was good was tower of Terror.
-
I agree, open it on Fridays, keep it open till two or three, didn't they do that the last coupl of years? I think they should also bring back Tower of Terror. So dn't worry your not the only one who had a bad day at Kings Island today.
-
Yeah i agree with Teenage ninja. lol it is kind of hard to ride sometihng that is only open at night at three in the afternoon.
-
I left around 7:00 and got there at eight, big mistake. To my surprise it was so packed. Last year the lines were hardly no wait, except for pyscho path. Tonight however they were long. Every haunted house was like a 2 hour wait. I would much rather spend 20 dollars and have no wait than get in free and have a long wait. SO all I did tonight was ride beast, then Son of Beast. I also saw my couson again in the same spot I saw him earlier in the year, right by Son of Beast, it was kind of strange. So fear fest imo this year sucks.
-
Sounds like you had fun. I had homecoming tonight so i didn't get to go but I will be going this coming saturday. I was wondering about the Route 666. SO it is worth It? I remember last year I thought Psyco Path was going to be great, but last yearit sucked IMO. They had the right idea just not scary enough. I thought that was how Route 666 was going to be this ear, but I hope it is good. Do they actually jump on your car and stuff? If so that will be awesome. I also want to know if they just stand in the middle of the road, that would be cool, I be tthe part of the coverd bridge is sweet too. I cant wait.

what if paromounts didnt buy kigs island
skatefanjeff replied to beastbreakdown's topic in Kings Island
Or the park would have been bought by six flags and then they would have gotten hand me down rides, j/k -
Rickster you have to get up to Cp. It is great. I agree both parks are great. Millennium Force though had a huge impact, if you was there opening year you would know what I mean, there was the "runnig of the bulls" wich was the early mornig mad rush to Millennium, it was crazy.

Pki has the most legendary woodies, Cedar Point has the most legendary steel coasters, and Cedar Points are even more legendary. First coaster over 200 ft., first coaster over 300 ft. and now the first coaster over 400 ft. Cedar Point is the best at breaking the limits and just destroying every other park in ratings and evrey thing else.
-
Let me think here for a minute... does Cedar Point have a legendary coaster, Let me see, Magnum yeah I think that it one, Millennium Force, said to be the greatest ride in the world, and Raptor is one of the best inverts, and now they got Top Thrill Dragster. So don't even try to say Cedar Point doesn't have a legendary coaster. Magnum was voted the best ride in the world until one coaster beat it, and that was MIllennium Force. Pkicoasterguy have you ridden Top Thrill Dragster, nope, because if you have you would not say it is a waste, it may only be fifteen seconds, but it is the best fifteen seconds ever.
-
I think you are just trying to make Cedar Point, the greatest amuesment park, look bad, and if your sister did kiss one of the employee's did she enjoy it? If so then there is nothing wrong with it. Cedar Point trys to make sure there employees the best. That's why they give drug test before hiring people, so they can make sure the employees are perfectley fine.
-
Cedar Point has a lot more land than people think. There is plenty over by the Camper Village, but Cedar Point is on a Pennisula, which could cause some problems in a while, but they already started buying additional land on the main land. If you want o check out a link to a nice photo that shows they have land I'll give you the link. Just found the link http://said.uc.edu/students/oakleysd/cp/CP.jpg

Straight from the PKI press release "Our guests are in for a real surprise next season," hinted Craig M. Ross, Paramount's Kings Island's executive vice president and general manager. "It is going to be amazing. If you are a fan of WaterWorks, you are going to love what we are unveiling 2004." So maybe it is going to be a huge waterworks expansion, but I hope not. Maybe we will get a water coaster, maybe an Intamin Aqua Trax, or a super saturator. -

I know he can't talk about it because he signed some papers, but he can give us some hints. -

Yeah the homepage is up, probaly just my computer. I am still confused on to what it is, over on coasterbuzz there is a guy who's username is Shaggy and he knows what they are builting next year, does he have a username on this site? Maybe he can help us out. I don't know what to think, I think they are totally destroying the waterpark, but whatever they do they are going to shock us all. -

Maybe a new coaster is in store for 04. I was thinking a huss j2 was going to be built, but I hope we get the coaster. I am happy about the destruction of the waterpark, I dont like it at all. I am not sue what is going on. The PKI homepage is down, maybe it is just me, maybe they are changing the home page for the announcement for the new ride? Who Know's? -
I havent ridden it yet, but I'm going to the point in a week! So I will say Top Thrill Dragster. I know I will like it, but I don't know if it would be able to take out the Force.

Everytime I have been to Cedar Point thier employees have rocked. They are very nice, and almost always willing to talk. The best crew though is Mantis's crew. They have been the best every year I go there. They read the stats of the ride and they always say funny things. I think Cedar Points ops. are much better.

I love fear fest more than a normal day. The best is no lines for rides so you can ride them so many times. I agree with Boddah The Beast in the middle of the night is the best. I alos like the guys tha go around and scare people, the are great. As for the haunted houses the best was the one in the woods last year(they had the right idea, but it wasnt scary enough), I also liked the one they had two years ago, the one on the Eiffel Tower that one was real good too.
-
I voted Intamin. They give rides that are smooth as glass. They also have the top three rated steel coasters which are expedtion ge-force, superman: ROS (the one at six flags new england) and of course Millennium Force. The only things about intamin they have problems after they are built, the superman ride at sfne is running to fast, so they have to run some trains with up to six seats empty. They still have realiable rides though, like millennium force.

I never thought about going back there. I hate getting in trouble by the police, ( happens all the time skating), plus I'm afraid I may find a bloody hat back there. I was planning on trying to find them while riding. I always think about what stuff PKI still has in all those warehouses and stuff.
