Went there today expecting it to be at least somewhat not as busy as other weekends as it is much colder out now. Alas the parking lot was 98% or so full.

I've seen a few times where they stop the train and tell them to put cell away, then after it starts again they pull it right back out. I always expected to see security or at least the ride opps say something to them when we get off but everytime they just get to walk away as i shake my head.

Its probably because of all those big storms that kept people away over the weekend/early week, since they didnt go then they are going now

I totally understand your position on this, i tend to leave my phone in my truck when im there too and just enjoy myself. That said for this particular event having one would be nice just for being able to take pics and video of the tour that for many of us may be a once in a lifetime opportunity and may want to show family etc. True though a digital camera would work just as well.
