KI is kind of a cheat though. They have four kids coasters, which leaves 10 thrill coasters, then take away Son of Beast, that leaves 9 coasters. At least they are all quality!

We all talk about how we want Kings Island to get a giga coaster or a B&M invert, but what about the poor little park right next to Kings Island? Yup, that's Boomerang Bay, a place that hasn't gotten a new ride or expansion since 2004 (when they added three new attractions: Tazmanian Typhoon, Jackaroo Landing, and Kookaburra Bay). What I am really looking for is a new water coaster, since we don't have one already. Or, maybe just a new wave pool would do nice. There are no real rumors about a BB expansion, but for unknown reasons, many of us Kings Island enthusiasts have a gut feeling the 2012 announcement will be for it. So, what would you like to see? A new wave pool, new slide, or maybe even a new kids' activity area? (taken from my blog, http://www.kingsislandhub.com )

I have seen the fog screen once, and trust me, it isn't too exciting anyways. The first time I saw it I couldn't make out exactly what it was.

Hm, well obviously everything in Planet Snoopy should be great for him, it all depends on his height. At 5 he could even be riding Beast, Racer, and the big kid rides. Long story short, Kings Island has many things to do for a 5 year old - actually, probably more than a grown up or teen! Since you're going the week of August 15 on a Monday, then you will probably be able to walk on everything (from experience), same with the waterpark. Hope you have fun!

I know this is a bit late it post this, but this reminds me of when I went to Hilton Head this summer. The way we went you pass right by it. Hilton Head is a popular destination, and many people will be able to see Carowinds as they pass by, and say, "I want to go there!" Basically, what I'm saying is, I completley agree with you!

Remember, it's still only early August. Summer is still here, and Halloween is in another two months. The site won't be up until another month and construction definitley has not started this early.

The only real good mazes are ones that have you walk around sharp corners. You expect a person to be there, but there won't be. That makes you relaxed, but by the time you get around the next corner, someone pops out and scares the living heck out of you. That's why Cornstalkers is so boring - you just know when and where things are going to happen. Same with a lot of the other mazes, except for a few quality ones...CarnEVIL is a completley different kind of maze (but it is great!), and Slaughterhouse is gorey and disgusting (good thing). Others are just boring and don't have a good theme. Eventually, people jumping out and screaming "BOO!" is just not scary anymore.

I think they're working on the website now, it won't load! The ride looks great....this way it will keep the record for longest water coaster for a while (hopefully).

I rushed to the computer at 11 (our time) and Ustream wasn't working. I was so mad, yelling at the computer, then - I realized - 11 am CENTRAL time was the announcement.

That is the exact time I went last year. Holiday World said "it won't be too crowded" but it was a mess. Sorry to tell you that, but it's true....surprisingly.

Camden is really going to have a bad reputation now. I wouldn't be surprised to see attendance go down in the coming years, especially if another ride malfunctions.

Get two pieces of toilet paper, put one on both sides of the toilet seat, sit on it, germ - free. Coming from a germaphobe.

And if you run in the park, you will be stopped...so make sure you always go to the bathroom before riding Flight of Fear or Firehawk!

If you don't like one restroom out of what, five in the park? then go to a different one. It's that easy. Edit: Nevermind, I just realized you were complaining about FIVE restrooms! Carry on.
