  1. Anywhere from thousands to millions of dollars... https://www.kiDiamondback.com redirects to the jobs website, but http://www.kiDiamondback.com doesn't (however, it is kind of broken). I noticed that as well... However, Chrome just redirected me to the https:// page with a warning message that the site was trying to display something that I didn't request or whatever...
  2. *Technically* the domain is still active, and parked on Cedar Fair's JobNet site. http://sonofbeast.com is still forwarding to http://kingsdominion.com. I doubt they'll let these domains expire for a long while, as it could be potentially dangerous for the company if the domains were then sold to some freelance web designer that could pose the corresponding sites as "official" websites of Cedar Fair. And as a side note, they still own pki.com (3 letter domains are EXTREMELY hard to come by), and it just forwards to http://visitkingsisland.com. I would also speculate that they still haven't purchased http://kingsisland.com hasn't been purchased yet because the current owner wants quite a chunk of change for it. (I couldn't imagine that KI/CF hasn't approached them for it...) Sorry if my thoughts aren't coming out clearly...it's all part of the web domain market that can be quite confusing, even to Miles, whose been creating websites for years. Edit: I may be wrong about this, but I don't believe Cedar Point bought a domain for Gate Keeper. It seems Cedar Fair is making custom sites within their main websites, probably for a slew of reasons including cost. See: Gate Keeper, KI for a Cure, the [new] Dino's Alive site that may or may not be live yet, Bigger, Better Planet Snoopy @ KD, etc. So for KI 2014, I'd look for internal pages on KI's site, rather than a separate domain...
  3. Red eyes of a Banshee?Or eyes turning red from the chlorine in Soak City, which is closed due to rain?
  4. Leviathan and Behemouth Hugin and Munin Off the wall, but maybe.
  5. Fireworks. Probably has extra storage containers for the 4th of July fireworks. Edit: jdawg beat me to it!
  6. Today's technically the last day of spring...could we be seeing anything like an announcement, etc today?
  7. I'm actually severely allergic, rather than Celiac, so I may not be the best to answer. But I haven't had any problems so far. I've had the GF pizza in Festhaus (you order at the Yeungling Brewery, not LaRosas), it's been great. Also can have the Chili Cheese Fries at Skyline no problem. I haven't had a chance to hugely delve into the other options that were added this year at Conet Potato Works yet, but I've had the bacon cheese fries and they were awesome...quite filling though. They also have chicken tenders, corn dogs, beer, and ice cream comes that are all gluten free. I would imagine they're all fine, but I haven't had a chance to try them yet. The nice thing is though, they don't serve anything else (as far as I know) that isn't gluten free. So that's a plus for cross contamination. Hope that helps!
  8. I think that should be his motto/catchphrase... "It's pretty darn good." Edit... Good ole profanity filter
  9. It might be time for the park to actually add this page to the "Plan a Visit" menu... (right now its just in the sitemap) https://www.visitkingsisland.com/plan-a-visit/tips-for-guests-with-autism-spectrum-disorder EDIT: Nevermind...it's actually front and center on the Guests with Disabilities page... https://www.visitkingsisland.com/plan-a-visit/guests-with-disabilities
  10. Well, I'm thinking of Slingshot.. Photo credit to ohiocolts
  11. I know that sounds pretty off the wall...but I could actually see that happening... If they were to move slingshot back there (or install a brand new one..), that would open up that area right there to prevent bottlenecking, and a path could possibly be going behind Delirium... And I mean, the triangular footers do look similar to the layout of Slingshot's towers... Two triangles pointing toward eachother... Could be way off...but I'd say its plausible....
  12. Screamscape (I know, I know) reporting: "2014 - Banshee / New Coaster - Rumor - (6/3/13) Screamscape sources have confirmed to us that not only is the new Kings Island 2014 coaster from B&M, but it will be a new large Wing Coaster. And yes unless things change, we can expect to see it fly under the Banshee name." I hold that with a grain of salt, especially because of Mr O's statement and other things. I've only heard the idea of a 4D coaster being tossed around only a couple times...has it been ruled out or anything? If memory serves me right, B&M's rumored 4D coaster had similar trains to that of a Wing Coaster, in regards to the fact that the seats are on the edge of the track? So could we be seeing what appears to be wing coaster track, that'll actually be used for a 4D coaster?
  13. Have they all been removed now? I noticed one or two of them did a couple weeks ago...
  14. Just rode Firehawk and noticed construction signs back on the access road that leads behind Flight of Fears building that had the same design/theme to it as the teaser signs do. Probably just that--construction signs, but thought it was interesting to note none the less.
  15. Gluten free pizza in Festhaus or Chili Cheese Fries from Skyline have been my steady diet in the past.... Although I may have to expand my horizons to some of the options at Coney Potato Works this year! Asides from the gluten free options, generally go with a Cherry Vanilla Coke from the Freestyle Machines or a Mello Yello from anywhere that has it. Other than that I gotta get ice cream...chocolate or blueberry twist in a dish! I remember the days when I could only eat a bag of chips, a Coke, and some Dip n Dots... Man how times have changed. (For the better in this case)
  16. The closest support in this second picture looks either A, similar to the outer track of the keyholes of gate keeper, or B hugging the terrain at a 90 degree angle... So whether it's for KI or not, it looks interesting!
  17. I'm actually pretty sure the round ends are the bases... Aren't the joints between the supports and the track square on Diamondback?

  19. It may be nothing, and I don't remember it being mentioned on the previous pages, but as I was in line to ride FoF this weekend, I noticed that the design of the signs and entrance queue are eerily similar to that of the teaser posters... When I got inside, I noticed 2 posters that were zip tied to the scaffolding, facing the wall away from the spaceship. I don't ever remember those being there? And I didn't get a chance to look at them as I was already past them in line. Is there a chance anyone might be able to take a look at that the next time they're at the park and post if there's any significance to them? Or if anyone remembers them being there before?
  20. I'm thinking, based on the color scheme and style of the teaser poster, that it's more of a red herring and just a follow up to the demo of SoB to sort of let it rest in peace... I would think they'd start in with the teasers with some truth to them later on in the season...
  21. Could "red" simply mean red herring by chance?
  22. I'm still thinking Racer or for some reason they may be painting the Eiffel Tower red...but that'd really have me puzzled as to why..?
