I do know this, this year is going to be bigger and better than last year!

Ringmaster , I am just now seeing this and i want to personally say thank you from everyone at nightmare alley for all of your kind words . going into this we were not sure how people would like it and we really worked our asses off every night. so once again thank you so very much. (dirty carny NA)

Also I read on twitter from kingsislandpr that they were having a haunt meeting yesterday.

First of all thanks bb1 for starting this forum. Im so excited to get back to the haunt again this year! Its going to be another great year and I hope evryone comes!

hello! I went and seen this on friday june 8th , and I really enjoyed it. No technical difficulties . It was very funny . I understand the dancers as he needs time to prepare for the next bit . People might say its too much but any show like this will have this aspect in the show.Overall very entertaining . The only thing is ,that it is really short like maybe a half hour long and thats the only thing . It left me wanting more which is not exactly a bad thing . And... I got to pet a bunny ! hahahahahah........ ahhmmm. well . I also felt very comfortable because it reminded me of nightmare alley at haunt . I wanted to start scaring people !.... well soon enough I guess . thanks for reading see ya......

I spend alot of time in Planet Snoopy with my daughter and I will say that all of the ride operators there are awesome. Not to say that they were not last year but this year they do seem happier. They even made me laugh a few times . I even like some of the new props they have around the area. The front gate people were also really happy it seemed. I feel overall that the park itself has a better positive feel to it. Cant wait to see the park on travel channel .

I noticed no metal detectors and no bag checking... not sure how i feel about it . As a visitor I like it, as a worker....not so sure on those dark nights .This could just be opening day bugs that will be worked out but not sure. New items in snoopy planet - snoopys dog house,psychiatrist booth. the new british invasion show was pretty good. ?gold pass parking I think thats a done deal . Dont remember seeing this last year but theres a window display with lots of 80's items and posters ,very cool if you ask me . brought back alot of memories. Sorry if im mentioning things already brought up. One thing I noticed is that The Vortex looks like it could use a paint job....just sayin . The park looked very neat and clean . It did rain and lightning but not long was cloudy with one patch of sun in the morning all in all it was a very enjoyable day just wish it was alittle warmer. Cant wait for the rest of the season . One last thing just came to mind, the viking entrance - there was alot of confusion with the entrance because the Fast Lane sign and normal entrance are the same access point . So what happened was people were going in the exit thinking that was normal entrance. I started redirecting people myself because it happened so often. they might want to change that but once again this might be changed later on .

Husband's still pushing for the Breaking Bad Haunt. Come to think of it, they already have "Hell on Wheels" with the train gig. What's next, Mad Men, the Advertising Agency Gone Awry? hahahah you know what i mean , was just making a comparison as to what i was talking about . I dont think we should actually do the walking dead itself but something like it. zombies in general.

I would like to see a "Walking Dead" type of haunt. that would be cool . And I agree with "bonks" about the school or camp type of attraction. Maybe even a classic monster mix haunted house.

I agree and wish I had more scareactors to bring to it. We were originally supposed to go even further past the snack shack toward Holiday Horror but scareactors were thin so I tried to concentrate efforts more from the Planet Snoopy arch to the Horse-Trainer at the "end" (at the horse skeleton). Maybe next year we'll be able to add more - but I think we had a great first season! How does everyone like the addition of "Big Daddy" on the microphone at the arch? I think he's the perfect touch I love "big daddy" on the mic , hes great! and I hope all of the cast comes back again next year . And I too think we had a great first season .

does anyone have or know where to find all these pics being taken at the haunt I would love to see them ,and if you have them please post them please . thanks

Ok , so heres how I feel, everyone is entitled to like or not like something at the haunt. And unless you work there you have NO idea what it takes each night to give people a good scare or what its like when you give all you got and certain people will badmouth you or give attitude. And its true that everyone has there scare threshhold, everyone has that certain thing that they are scared by, I scared someone by smiling at them so it just goes to show that it takes a little something different from person to person. I have to back up Zakk on this ,hes only defending what he does and also defending how much he puts into what he does. Theres only so much a person can take or listen to. We all have our breaking points. Its just hard not to take things personally when you hear it every night. I love the haunt and the public and my only job is to scare you and thats what ill try to do every night ! Its not everyone but I do wonder why those certain very small group of people come if they are NEVER happy with ANYTHING at the Haunt. I think everyone working the Haunt would agree that we want to scare and just have fun and we want the public to have fun as well.

hahaha i was actually hit by a light-up sword they sell, and a guy and gal was punched that i work with

thats what happens in my area , if someone is acting "bad" then usually theres a back-up person to scare them , remember we have to be prepared for anything . I totally agree with everything above. Those few people that we experience the trouble with do make the night long so please remember : dont bring your young children,its not for them, please dont be disrespectful-we are only doing our jobs, if you are not scared theres no need to tell us that you are not- trust me we will know, if you do get scared dont be mad or punch us- once again we are only doing our job and YOU came. As a side note there were alot of younger crowds coming through who were making fun of everything but kept watching there backs ,clearly these types are afraid but have to act cool to make themselves feel better,awww precious.

I'm on a lot of FearfestKarens videos for Wall of Monsters. But yes I am super super nervous for the slider position. I have seriously wanted that position ever since I started and I being the bendy and flexible doll girl last year had seemed to spark interest in the Haunt hiring staff. Right now I'm more excited about my costume since its being custom made to be more feminine HA! thats so funny thats exactly where i saw you. I subscribed to her on youtube and have been watching her vids since I got this job. How funny. Do you know the wizard lizard? Anyway congrats on the new job as a slider thats really cool.

@haunt_mouse I think I've seen you in a YouTube vid for Halloween Haunt you look familiar , but now your a slider? Cool .
