  1. I rode FoF a couple weeks ago and I have to say that I like the new lighting. Cool colored blacklighting.
  2. Cafe Press says: "In stock items will ship within 2-3 business days with standard shipping. Expedited (Next Day/2 Day) will ship the NEXT BUSINESS day. Items ordered on Monday will be shipped on Tuesday and received Wednesday (if next day). Items ordered on Friday will be shipped on Monday and received on Tuesday (if next day). Remember, business days exclude weekends and holidays."
  3. Then why didn't they use pumps on the small lake by The Beast? Was the lake too much of an annoyance?
  4. I for one am excited to hear what they plan to do.
  5. I say we meet in front of the fountain, by the Paramount logo.
  6. I, myself am planning on trying for rides. But if that doesn't work, I'll try for sound tech at one of the shows.
  7. It's sad to say that I never got to ride the great Phantom Theater. But I think SCATHC is a good ride. Though, I loved the Space Ranger Spin at WDW also.
  8. Most Beautiful Waterpark: 1. Schlitterbahn 2. Typhoon Lagoon 3. Blizzard Beach I haven't been to Schlitterbahn, but I have been to both the Lagoon and Beach. Both of them were fantastic. Well themed, nice atmosphere. Best Non-Coaster Ride 1. Spider Man 3. Tower of Terror Haven't rode Spidey (sad isn't it?) But i have rode ToT. Back when I rode it in 2000, it was pretty cool since they had the new programming with one huge drop, a couple small, then one last huge. I heard they redid the lap bars with just seat belts and totally redid the programming with a random program, new ride everytime. All I can say is ToT gets my vote this time.
  9. What exactly was the themeing on Top Gun?
  10. And how you don't get any headaches going into any huge rosebowl helixes...
  11. Vekoma also makes floorless suspended cars. They can be "retro-fitted" on Arrow track also. But Top Gun is one of few remaining "full bodied" suspended coasters. If they replaced the trains, it'd take away it's uniqueness.
  12. Oh, great. A Zamperla Volare...
  13. Nobody was killed on The Bat. The problem with it was that the turns weren't banked as they are now on Top Gun and all other Arrow suspended coasters. This led to the extreme wear and tear on the shocks as they would let the cars swing out very far as they rounded the turns. It was closed because it was plagued with problems. This site can explain it all: The Bat
  14. Some new restraint they developed, I guess. An LIM Water Coaster....now that's interesting....
  15. Resorts: CP - 7 (Hotel Breakers, Breakers Express, etc.) PKI - 0 PRO: CP
  16. Actually, let me correct both of us. You meant to say 'bye', right? In that case it's 'au revoir'. Khomalro and Khamsahnidah.
  17. This has nothing to do with Drop Zone, but it's a floorless, tilting version of the gyro drop... Is it just me or does this look painful??
  18. Intamin Aqua Trax / Waverunner - Riders sit astride on saddle-like seats as seen on jet skis, rather than 'inside' a boat. These jet ski cars travel through water sections designed to simulate the skimming and jumping of real jet skis. Basically, You ride like a jetski. Almost like a water coaster, 'cept you're riding saddle-style. (Lotte World is getting one, so you can check out the construction pics on RCDB.com)
  19. That's a great idea.
  20. They mention "exotic" so I think it'll be more tropical or beach-like.
  21. Great idea.
  22. Actually, Chef, hello in french is one word: Bonjour.
  23. This should help: Timberwold Seating Chart
  24. Since we're all so curious about the new waterpark, what do you think the new name and theme should be?
  25. roll eyes = that's bull
