Limited quantity, posted on FB and Twitter, being shared and retweeted like all get out. How many want to bet on how quickly these get sold out? Some day, BB1 who is a optimistic person, like always.

Well, I atleast want a piece of wood for my wall of KI stored away in my collection room.

If only a Boomerang Bay item sale were to occur, then I could have my own BB area. (Or is KI keeping some of the BB items for a future 2013-2014 BB return? Pun intended) Anyways I was thinking exactly what PR said, that items will go on sale, it looked like there were a few pieces stacked. Look at the Blood Drums stage for a SOB easter egg........

I only like the Paramount era for a few reasons... A- Boomerang Bay- Originally Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay, it added a few attractions we know and love today. Also it added a australian theme to the waterpark, which I love, and miss today. One of my favorite sites now for my memories http://www.KICentral.com/bbay/ B- FearFest- This brung about one of my favorite attractions, Psycho Path.

I share the same feelings towards you also! I dont like haters either, so I can already tell we will have fun on KIC, promptly friending as I post! Anyways, my favorite thing about the Haunt, are the people who visit the park.
-
Sure, the theme correlated with the Cut Throat Cove feel, with BB paddles, boats, and other BB nautical items. While walking towards the Action Zone, one would find to their left, a whole infestation of spiders. With spider webs over bodies and egg sacks, with some spiders still making webs in the mix. This was basically a smaller version of the latter Action Zone theme of a spider infestation in Action Zone. Spiders include, black widow giants, large brown recluses, spiders that were on the KI sign for Haunt a few years back, and small black widow like spiders. The Festhaus was themed to a frankenstien castle area, with the graveyard shift stage. If you consider the CornStalkers area a part of the Oktoberfest area, one may conclude that the outter area is not themed to be like a corn maze like area.

Today was my first visit to ki for the fall season, starting off with theming by area. I-Street- It seems to have less this year, I wish that there would be the RIP ride graves that seem gone. 4/10 RiverTown- Again it seemed to have less, with one skeleton at a outhouse, which seems to fit. 5/10 Coney Maul- Less theme, I did not like the hay bales in the inner green space, give me german barons! Basically it had little carnival gone wrong theme. 3/10 Oktober Fest- Although this was not themed to Germany, I loved it! The pirate themed carried around the lake with BB items around it. Also the spider alley, which I found to have a great feel to the area, being dark. 8/10 Action Zone- Steampunk, well thats a start to say what it was. The area fiyted the band perfectly, all of it was themed properly. Look at the bandstand for a SOB easter egg. I liked the gears and the water tower having metal/construction finese. The eyes, the one part I think reminded me of a eye doctors office. I found this to be a flawed attempt to scare, although I liked the bugs and snakes. Without eyes 10/10 eyes area 1/10 Note for the whole park: Theming was lacking! Now for the tr, I started with going to the dback, and then the Flight Deck, it was too crowded to ride anything. The temperature seemed to be mild and refreshing. I ate at the over priced chick fila. Throughout the day there were some very amusing characters roaming the park, some who were dressed in little costumes, and others who said the oddest of things. I did notice that there were many people taking photographs/videos of the Kings Island today, any information upon that? Also the SOB demolition is going along well from what it looks like by the E-T, there is a large pile of just wood and some wood stacked up which one could only wonder why.... I recomend anyone with children to go to howl o palooza at Soak City(I know BB1 saying that a Soak City thing is great? Even BB1 is shocked!). A haunt report to come BB1

The day of the SC announcement, I had bad news about a trip being cancelled, my favorite place is being destroyed, and I heard that Cheeseburger in Paradise may close soon. For me it runs in cycles, good luck, good luck, bad luck then repeat.

I want to see Dino walking around, maybe with Freddy Flintstone. Actually I could only ask for some more tropical/cold hardy tropical plants in the area for the patrons to feel like they are in the dinosaur age. Also I would suggest to have a more stable kind of gift shop. When it comes to the movie, I would suffice with the movie Dinosaur by Disney (Pun intended). While I like Iguanadons, I have no other suggestions or comments upon the subject.

One day I found a guy talking about how he was excited for BB a few hours away from KI, anyways I have found maps in parking lots of gas stations in Cincinnatti, but basically that is it. Although if I throw away a 2012 map, into a trash can, in Tennessee, would that be the farthest I have seen KI trash? I wonder...........

i miss bb too but you have to admit, there are some good changes. Lets break this down, to many other people, yes they are quote unquote great changes to the waterpark. When to me, its just un needed changes, now as I said once before I know BB needed some sort of revamp, but not a whole overhaul that would change the park in a whole (In my mind). Now I am inbetween on how it is a mixture of my own likes, being of that I like Florida, while I like the Australian theme (See SurfSide Supplies). I see how this new step can bring new ideas and new events to our waterpark but I can only wish that what is left of the BB chain will stay, which its a chain that I can see major enhancements in the years to come at CGA and CW. The one (1) thing I would add is tikis, it seems fitting for the areas, in example where the austrian pines used to be. BB1 who shouldnt be asked about how he thinks SC has good ideas, he may rant.

Is the enthusiast population dwindling?
BB1 replied to FOFreak's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
In my years of looking at many different sites, I can say slowly it changes every day. Yes, at points it seems as if the population is dying, or dead in some ways, but no, at other days when new members come on and post regularly. Also many actually stay on the enthusiast radar, but on other enthusiast websites. I have seen the decline in members on some sites, while there are many new members on another site, and at times old members returning. With this being said, there are many (like I) who simply just look at sites and do not join/join later in years after finding the site. I can agree with all of what has been said on this topic, and the statements made. (BB1 who sounds professional, one post at a time) -
Enthusiests? You do know not everyone on KIC is some sort of enthusiast material to KI.
-
Hank, you gave me inspiration for this meme... I only wish for the original paint.

If you haven't seen Impractical Jokers I have seen the Impratical Jokers and I actually like it, but like always, BB1 who watches Worlds Dumbest more than Impratical Jokers.

Thanks for the tr! I got a kick out of the "for larry" motto, I may just use that sometime!

Tom Cat Taxi, I dont know the name of it today, but I rode it back in 2000 at the latest. Basically it would have to be the flight deck, which I last rode since last year.

.......While others stick with their old sayings and post on the forums. Or some will stay "guests" from the get go and even now. Then there are others who looked on the forums from a time ago, and joined one day which made them post many, many topics.

Which poster(s) of the past years of KIC's existance do you want to post again, and or who did you think had the best informative posts of KIC? Please note, this is not a favorites topic. (I expect a few present posters, a great dane, a few letters and a number, and a certain terp that is just a terp)

Madame Fatale's Cavern of Terror Best Maze Yet
BB1 replied to Flattestcupid2's topic in Kings Island
I personally dont like mazes much, I'm more of a haunted trail person. Please see "Trail of Terror", or "CornStalkers" for more information about the subject. -
Well, it has a new dilapidating paint job, a remix of the lazy miami (Crocodile Run), and a new wavepool, oh and who could forget most of BB era things are gone, just bits a pieces of scenery left. Anyways I voted Boomerang Bay, all it needed was a bit of tlc and it was a greater theme than well what ever Soak City's theme is. Also if you ever looked, BB was the unique thing at Kings Island, many waterparks have what tiki like themes and tropical floridian areas, but KI had Australian theming that actually looked great. In all honesty I can tell how one could say "Oh Soak City yeah I love it!" but one also has to remember that even when BB opened it was "Oh Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay yeah I love it!" which still to the day I will admire. As one great man told me "Be unique in your product, it can make the difference in a dollar, or a hundred dollars"

Favorite (and Least Favorite) Halloween Candy
BB1 replied to LongLiveTheSmurfRide's topic in KI Polls
Frisch's pumpkin pie, nuff' said! Usually I just snack on my own candy that I buy from Target or other places, like Brach's Candy Corn, and Sour Patch Kids. My least favorite is any licorice candy. -
Backwards was the most enjoyable, it always gave a thrill of whats happening and when are we going down? I second what TheCrypt said, change will come, in one way or another, which The Racer already has had modifications in one way or another.

Just keep on swimming, it helps, often. Anyways many people just "joke" around to get the scare factors down for a more fun experience for the "to be scared", but I just recomend going into the mazes and having a bit of fun. Also you never know, KIC members linger where you'd least expect it, so you will not be alone, hopefully speaking.
