Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
stashua123 replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
I think this thread could have had much MUCH more potential if the blueprints were not leaked so early... that kinda killed the buzz. With the rate we were going before that, we could have overtaken Decoding 2014 easily... -

Making me really want to plan a trip to Kings Island... going to be really hot! And I have much higher confidence in this forecast than usual, because there is going to be a huge dome of high pressure over us at the time and models are very accurate when it comes to those type of things. Brought to you by The Weather Channel, Its Amazing Out There! https://weather.com/

Well this is a surprise.

I concur with you on Millennium Force. However, I respectfully disagree on Voyage, my favorite coaster out of 132 riddenIt definitely has negative g's with it's 20 plus seconds of airtime! I also feel solid laterals on it. Now pacing, maybe I can see your beef there. To me it's like being on a bucking bronco and you might not feel like you're really traveling in any particular direction. It's just chaos, especially the second half. I'm different than most coaster fans in that I like Legend better than Raven. Wow... that is exactly my opinion! I like Legend better than Raven also and The Voyage is my #1.... Cedar Fair decided that since Michigans Adventure looked more like Baltic Ave. than say how Cedar Point was the like the Boardwalk... the "Monopoly"(quotations for a reason ) company decided to just keep two house at Baltic Ave. (Mich. Adv.) instead of buying a hotel and used that money to buy a huge and grand hotel for the Boardwalk (Cedar Point)! (Life is not as simple as a Monopoly game however, despite how many friendships have been broken by that game. ) -

I think some people on this thread will be very much like this when Kings Island announces their new rollercoaster. -

I think gforce1994 knows full well who Dan Glauser is. I personally am on Team GCI. The layout does not look like something RMC would do. -
Which was my parents wedding song for their wedding on March 4th, 1995. I have always liked that song. I think it will be a general park improvement year... but no one can absolutely predict the future.

It was great! Loved your spiel "Enjoy your ride on Adventure Express and watch for falling trees!" Cannot believe I was almost locked out of the ride!
-
I haven't seen Captain Biscuit since Opening Day. Sounds like something to do though! It was just Terpy, Malem Ohiocolts and I on April 29th

You were so lucky to just get your knees wet! We all were soaked! No ride on flume since for Lucas! He scoffs and shoots down any idea every visit. Don't blame him.

It was a great day yesterday at the park. Things to note I think this is my 10th consecutive visit meeting up with ohiocolts. Vortex was great but my last ride on it in the same seat was fairly rough. Must be the trains. I had my first real night ride on The Beast in 3 years! Diamondback was awesome, have lost weight were I don't need any operator help getting in. Banshee is still Banshee. Those sensors are glitchy. Wish it was like thunderbird at holiday world where they just require the seatbelt to be buckled. VERY dead for a Friday. Loved it! Thank God for FunPix! Thanks Lucas! And thanks RaptorGuy for taking our photo on the train! "Oh yeah this one time we were with our friends and they entered a restricted area over a bridge near top gun but they didn't know it. We were telling them not to go but they just continued. Then two guards came. Arrested them and put them in "Top Gun Jail" they were in their for an hour and they were balling their eyes out. It was hilarious!" I was trying so hard not to laugh. Just 5 minutes ago while waiting for Diamondback to dispatch.

Does age change the amount of times you ride a ride in a row?
stashua123 replied to Mr. Coastermania's topic in Kings Island
I can reride rides as often as I want to, just as long as I am not dehydrated. I once rode Flight Deck (The Bat) in July 2012 in 100 degree weather 12 times in a row... I got off because I was feeling fairly nauseous. Diamondback I can marathon easily! But the max I have ever done is three times in a row without getting off but decided to opt out on another one due to the 35 degree freezing cold downpour in October 2012. Banshee I can probably marathon about 4 times before getting a bit nauseous. AE I can just marathon that thing to no end! Firehawk is one I would probably get a bit sick of by the third time around. Invertigo I could not do more than once in a row.... its the only rollercoaster that gets me very nauseous and freaked out after one ride. I bet as I age I will probably not be able to ride rides like I used too, might as well enjoy them now!
