As someone on here said to me before going to HW, Kings Island is the only park in the world with PTCs lapbars that are placed lower than industry standards and require two clicks..... learned this the good way traveling to Holiday World, trains their(and I presume every other park in the world with PTCs) are much MUCH more accommodating.

And that day sticks into Americas mind forever and will. It feels like an acceleration... I was not around to remember clearly what happened that fateful day(Makes you all feel old, I know ), even with everything we have done in response to the horrible atrocities, it is like playing whack-a-mole and sometimes you whack-a-mole on the wrong thing... escapism....regular citizens.....etc. The day even though I was only almost 2... does NOT feel like 15 years ago and that may be because we never really won and were victorious against those in the shadows....

Can we all agree that there is some complete irony we are arguing here.... Who would have thought.... NOW.... we have to have security checkpoints that are fairly inconvenient and from what I have seen not effective AT ALL everyday to a place where people go to escape the world around us? Terrorism is a horrible, horrible thing.... and dont we try to escape that by going to places like Kings Island.... we go to Kings Island to escape political strife that this year will have and will divide us by November..... Kings Island and other Amusement Parks around the world are an escape from the real world.... and it feels like a big slap of reality to have to go through non-effective security checkpoints. All of a sudden, places we are trying to escape reality from are now being overtaken by reality and it is a feeling that is a bit gut wrenching. Who would have thought that somebody would want to shoot people at some place they just escape to... I dont want to get in the politics in a non-politically neutral way as that would violate the TOS. Escapism... privacy... there is a lot less of it in the world today and pretty soon from how things are going.... there will be little left. Escapism is being caught up in reality. Every security check, phone notification; also news coverage on TV, seeing a Hillary Clinton Ad on a TV in RHOFG, OJ Simpson Case on TV in RHOFG, it is reminding us this is not really an escape and reality is right their. This modern world has been made into us not being able to escape reality, it is right in our pockets. /end of rant\

I did it on Opening Day(Im also 6'4") and the pictures turned out great, as long as your body is not tip toed on something, your phone is secure in your hand, you are good. I wouldn't consider what you are considering to consider to do trespassing. -

Great day today. Left at 6:30, a little earlier than planned but it was a great day. I finally caved and got a souvenir cup. Seriously I was so desperately thirsty, the park was hot, humid and a bit stifling as I even saw someone in line for beast faint due to the heat. I think the 70 degree dew point had something to do with that. Order of events KI 6/20/2016 Diamondback 7-2 Diamondback 1-1 The Beast 6-2 BLSC 3-1 Vortex 7-1 Firehawk 4-4 Adventure Express 1-1 Banshee 8-2 The Bat 7-1 McDonalds Banshee 4-4 The Bat 6-1 (In line for DB) (As of 2:51 PM) Diamondback 1-2 The Beast 1-2 Diamondback 8-1 Souvenir Cup Diamondback 8-2 Cirque Origins The Beast 1-1 Diamondback 1-2 (Left at 6:36)

Ride spieling thoughts?
stashua123 replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Holiday Worlds rhyming auto spiels are pretty good actually, and have a bit of personality. I have some issues with spielling when it interferes with ride operations, but when it does not I am usually okay with it as LONG as its creative and not some "I say Diamond you say back!" "How excited are you to ride blank, scream as loud as you can and then we will dispatch you!" type shinding. -
Great day yesterday. I somehow managed to ride The Beast in the front at night/ really late dusk (9:30 was the time I got on) and Diamondback at 10:03 PM in the back, which due to my positioning was the most comfortable ride I've had on DB since 2014! Again, DB in the back at night is amazing! I guess when I ride it I need to position myself better as I rode it earlier and the guy who was fairly small for his age thought I wasn't going to make it but he just pushed down once and wala I was in. Great day, really enjoyed the park. Even though I was alone for about half the time it was still great! Ps: that charging station in RHOFG is a life saver. It's perfectly positioned for it not to be stolen from people other than those at the bar.

Double post that's warranted. This should be labeled under "guests do the darnest things" Literally just saw somebody take off their shirt while riding Adventure Express. Nobody noticed. The guy put it back on before he went to the station.

It's like a wooden coaster but it's not a wooden coaster! -In line for The Beast

Yeah but the fact that they were considering RMC before choosing GCI has peaked my interest.
