I would say they will probably start this week. I'm sure the demo company will want to get it down before the cold weather sets in, plus with the park closed weekdays, they can get SOB down in a more productive manner.

Any updates? Anyone here see any activity on SOB deconstruction this past weekend?

Actually it would be very easy to do controlled demo on a wood coaster.

I would say once they start no more than 2 months to take it down. It will be gone before the first snow flakes hit the ground this year.

Maybe that is why there was damage to the FOF building. They wanted to run old SOB one last time and the train derailed and flew into FOF, and it is sitting inside the building, explaining why there is a hole in the building. lol

Really problems with Shake Rattle and Roll? I do believe it has been there since the mid 70's, The other 3 yes.

IMO if the supporting structure is made of wood, then it is a wood coaster. Case closed. If the supporting structure was steel with a wood track (hypothetically speaking) I would consider it a Steel coaster.
