  13. As much as I love Diamondback I liked how the park felt when swan lake was there it made the park feel less cramped together.

  18. Our son is due December 4, currently my wife and I have platinum passes. I'm definitely getting passes next year just not sure if im going to renew or get a gold pass.
  19. This might have been brought up before but does anyone think Action Zone Might be re themed to a Halloween type zone? Banshee looks like a very fun coaster and I love the color scheme but it doesn't match up to that area at all, Just my thoughts.
  20. Screamscape is not a dependable source for updates and new's, It seems that they update based on what is put here.......FYI the only update is that there are more footers, we wont know who the coaster is being made by till track starts arriving and we wont know what type of ride most likely until the announcement is made in august sometime.
  21. I was thinking the same thing, but couldn't think of a proper way to say it. Waiting is certainly not a Kings Island thing, it happens every day. If an individual with autism can be taught that when they go to a restaurant, there will be a waiting period between ordering food and eating, can they also be taught that there will be a period between deciding to ride a ride and actually riding it? It's an honest question, so don't be offended by my ignorance. Maybe one of the many in this thread who are far more familiar with the situation can throw in their $.02. From my experience with my nephew that teaching on waiting can be very had, it's not that it cant be done but when you have parents working jobs to support their family and all the Doctor visits does not leave alot of time and just being autistic requires a lot of attention. I know it is hard enough on the family's that it drove my aunt and her husband apart.
  22. My nephew has Autism and I have watched him a number of times so I can sympathize with these family's 110%, My Aunt has tired to take him to KI and it didn't go well because of the wait he like others have no concept of time. Now for myself I have no problem with letting people with disability's go on the ride before me i'm perfectly healthy and can ride as much as i want so it's no big deal for me, but i do feel that there need to be a change to the policy or to how the schedule is done for these people that can't have a lucky go life like many of us on here. Maybe have the parents call a day or two to schedule when there child can ride, or have an event or two a month to advocate autism just like the Cancer, Coasting for kids and so on......Just my thoughts but many of us take what we have for granted.....Put there shoes on for a day and you might change your mind.
  23. My First visit was in 2001/2002.(Cant remember which year) It was Fear Fest and it was amazing, the themes make each attraction feel like it's own, I was 16 years old and SOB was amazing, I didn't feel like the park needed anything. Now there is no real themes except what they could leave up from the paramount days and it feels like they Need to add Ride after ride because the park can feel really stale after you have been there a few times in a year. So long story short the themes and the way Fear Fest was done it just had a lot more to offer at least to me. Also does anyone remember the name off the haunt next to the Entrance to X-Base and the fence where you had to crawl I loved that there was part of the floor that would light up to reveal a face, It would scare my brother to death...lol
  24. Footers not supports.....sorry
