If it is an Invert, I wouldn't mind something like Pyrenese(above) or Phaethon(below)
-
In the last image it looks like another triangular multisupport footer is coming in behind the slingshot
-
I wish they'd bring back the antique cars. They may not be a "thrill" ride, but even as an adult I found them to be fun and relaxing. they built stratas
-
those longer shaped footers by the wooden fence definitely look like those of an inverted coaster
-
and an Immelman loop lol

I agree.I third that. Doesn't anyone else think inverts are outdated? And head swirlers? No, I don't think inverts are outdated. If that's the thought process, why did we even get Diamondback to begin with? I mean, by the time we finally got it, hypers had already been around for 20 years. Magnum opened in 1989, and look how long it took for KI to finally get a steel hyper. Not only that, but why do they still build wooden coasters? Aren't they outdated by now? I think this is a monstrosity. Gatekeeper was built within a short time frame September-March. So Kings Island starting construction this early may suggest that we are getting something larger than Gatekeeper, and that itself is a monstrosity. Or it could just mean they want to get started early so they can work on other stuff in the old SOB footprint. There's nothing written in stone stating all that open space has to be used for only one ride. THANK you! Nice to see someone else feels the same way about it that I do. did i say that all the space was being used? No. all im saying is that we most likely may get a large size coaster, that doesnt mean the whole entire footprint of Son of Beast is going to be used.

If this is an invert, I feel like it would be cool if it went into the valley near Adventure Express. Again if it is an invert, the lift most likely may be towards Sling Shot (there is enough space depending on the height. Of coarse it is most likely going to be a B&M (the triangular multi-support footer is seen on Behemoth, Diamondback, Leviathan, Patriot, and maybe many other B&M's). Just waiting until WLWT News 5 catches some clues like they did for Diamondback and WindSeeker, and until late summer when more clues, begin to pop up like popcorn

well that kills the dark green supports going to KI
-
I am going to upload the photos I took today while at the park
-
And does anyone have construction photos from today??
-
Sorry

Besides KI and Dollywood, what other park has started Construction/ teasers of a new thrill. And if it was going to Dollywood, why would they use 71 from Maryland? Isn't that going out of the way
-
Blitz and Mega-Lite?
-
2 things 1.) the shipment is coming down 71 with a supposed Intamin track piece (it couldn't be going back to Maryland 2.) Where is Kings Island located? Off of I-71. I'm not saying its for KI but the anticipation is building tremendously. It's been 4 years since KI has built a new coaster, so this is extremely exciting
-
Wow! Just to think Kings Island may get an Intamin coaster. Love it! Now if it is indeed going to Kings Island, will it be a blitz terrain hugger like Maverick/Cheetah Hunt, or along the lines of Millennium Force/ Intimidator 305? Either way...I am happy with either choice!
-
It should be at the park by now...if that is where it is indeed going
-
Not jumping to any conclusions, but someone had posted they saw green Intamin track pieces on I 71 S. Just thought it was interesting
-
Intimidator 305's track was already on site prior to support installment and all the footers being placed
