  1. I finally got this down at Cedar Point....and as soon as you get a snap in, they start on the microphone..."please do not snap the flyers"
  2. Millennium Force back seat for sure! Maverick is even crazier at night, best ride in the park! Magnum XL 200 delivers a great night ride as well!
  3. They do have great POV's....too bad you have to turn the volume down though.
  4. Is Woodstocks Gliders on Fast Lane? If so, wait until a group comes through, then you will see how slow the line can really go! Experienced that at Cedar Point on Lake Erie Eagles! I also don't think you should be expected to pair up on this ride, as everyone wants to control their own. With me being 6'4", there is barely any room left with how i have to sit in these rides. One of my kids (7yr old) rode with me once last year, and it was very snug!
  5. We made our first ever trips to Kings Island last year and both visits were on Saturdays. One in mid May, the other in early August. We waited until we got to the park to buy Fast Lane Plus, it was well worth the money, especially driving 5 hours to get there! Even if a line was only 15-30min long, it was pretty much a walk on for us. Having that be our wait to get on rides, it was a great experience! The longest waits were for the coasters obviously (45+ minutes), but those were pretty much a station wait to 5 minutes with FL+, depending on what seat you wanted. I think we did a mini marathon of The Beast, Banshee, and Diamondback. The looks we got were bad, but if we are there for just the day and they don't put a limit on it, might as well do it!
  6. It is the total cost. I signed my family of four up for $25.
  7. I was looking online, and Kings Island showed in stock for both. I ordered and got the dreaded cancelled, out of stock email the next day. If anyone knows anyone that has an extra one, or one they are wanting to sell, please show them this topic. Thanks!
  8. Does anyone have one or an extra one of these trains that they would like to sell? Or know where I could possibly find one? Thanks!
  9. We did this at Cedar Point and it was just over $5 after tax. One day they reactivated the bar code, the other day they put a drink band around the souvenir cup.
  10. Only the "in park campers" will receive an email.
  11. Look at your last email receipt. It should have a web link for you to click on for questions about your billing. Maybe there is an option where you could change to a credit card for method of payment......? Not sure if that is even an option, but its worth looking into tonight.
  12. I did the easy pay plan as well. All my monthly payments were taken out first thing in the morning, between 8-9am.
  13. Definitely not what i want to see at Cedar Point! Leave the interactive crap alone. I just want a top notch dark ride.
  14. Great trip report! Don't sit on the wheel seats on Magnum! I would love CP to remove Magnum for a B&M hyper. Yes, i said it! Diamondback smokes Magnum! On Maverick, you need to grab the shoulder restraints as you normally would, but turn your hands so they are on the inside of the shoulder straps and push out while you ride, if that makes sense. Your review of the ride will be different after you do that! I wish they would just take the shoulder restraint off and leave the lap bar as is. Maverick is just a fast, out of control, great roller coaster! "The West was never this Wild!" You summed up staying Hotel Breakers perfectly! If KI had a hotel inside the park, we would be all over it. I'm spoiled at Cedar Point! Banshee is better than Raptor, but certainly not Maverick! Banshee's restraints rub and dig into my shoulders, even though the vest doesn't tighten. I don't understand the Millennium Forceless comments either. Haters gunna hate! It needs to warm up like every coaster. Ride it in the afternoon/evening and compare it to the morning rides....night and day experience! Gatekeeper is definitely running better than last year! Did you ride SkyHawk or MaXair? Dragster is having a bad start to the season. I haven't seen it this bad in a few years! I have yet to ride it this year in 3 visits.
  15. "Like" Kalahari's Facebook page. Every Tuesday at noon they post a limited time deal. Usually for the weekdays, but sometimes they sneak in a weekend.
  16. I thought i recognized you from being on here, but i wasn't sure, so i didn't want to make a butt out of myself and introduce myself. We were there for both walkbacks as well, we are in the front row on the right of the walkback picture you posted, wife and daughter, me and my son. The ones holding up the walk with the wagon....sorry! We avoid SandCastle for the same reasons. We stick with Breakers East as it seems much nicer than the Tower section, for now, as they will be gutting the interior over the off season. Small things have been done in the room we stayed in already, paint, curtains with a wall long valance and new air conditioner. Gatekeeper is running better than last year! Sorry about your back, but glad you enjoyed your first Fast Lane experience! This is the pic from Sunday from Tony's twitter page. My son is holding the sign @TonyClarkCP: Today's #MillenniumWalkback group! Saturdays & Sundays for official coaster club members! http://t.co/lwHzhR9hPH
  17. If you didn't have any issues on Raptor, you should be fine.
  18. We finally visited Kings Island for the first time ever this past weekend! I couldn't believe all the buses! We ended up buying Fast Lane Plus and it was pretty much a few minute wait to walk ons all day! The Beast at night = best night ride on any coaster EVER! Couldn't believe how fast, smooth and out of control it felt! Banshee was incredible! Diamondback stole the show for me! What an amazing coaster! Speed, airtime, smooth, re-rideable! Im sure i upset some people with my mini marathon of walk ons with Fast Lane around 8pm. The line was around 45min+ at that point!
  19. Thought i would share this picture taken from the Kings Island webcam this morning. Would've been awesome if the lights were on!
  20. Here ya go! http://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4A974F53C3E5FDBF Leave the GoPro off the rides please!
  21. How are they going to "police" the sharing? Sorry, i just saw little Johnny take a bite of your pizza, please give me your passes, you are banned from the park.... SMH!
  22. ^ This is at most, if not all, Cedar Fair parks this year!
  23. Front right and back left are my favorites!
  24. Tough question! Lots of things factor into this, but I think you would be able to, plus hitting the good flats. Gatekeeper is a people eater! But its Fast Lane line will be longer now that it is not on Plus!
  25. We loved it! Bought it on a Mom and Dad only weekend! It was during a Halloweekend Saturday, so of course it was busy! We only bought the regular Fast Lane since we accumulated quite the stock of Plinko line skippies! The flat rides and other smaller rides that were on Fast Lane were pretty much a cycle wait. The bigger coasters had a minimum of 10 minutes (Maverick was always 20 or more minimum), it just depends on when you get in line. Raptor's Fast Lane was usually mobbed right away, but was short there after. Millennium Force usually had a 20+ wait, sometimes longer! We splurged for the kids to have it during another Halloweekend Saturday. They enjoyed it of course! We will definitely buy it again for our "alone" weekend! If you have any questions about Fast Lane at Cedar Point, just ask! Can't wait to see if Fast Lane Plus eases the Maverick line at all...
