I had a dream about a dive machine at Kings Island. Since then, it's been reoccurring. And btw, the new dive trains are floorless. The only drawback (for the enthusiast) to this type of ride is that they are limited. After a cool gimmick they lose momentum quickly and the trains are too wide for many types of inversions. I'm not saying I'd hate one here by any means, it just feels like the coaster line up is quite good and the park could use other upgrades first.

I always thought wild mouse coasters looked lame until I rode one with my daughter at Legoland Florida. It was surprisingly very fun. Looks can be deceiving.

Apparently, Line Jumping IS an Accepted Sporting Event at KI Now :)

I find it incredibly unlikely that a simple question such as "Are you a cop?" could potentially ruin a law enforcement operation. I believe whole heartedly that is a myth created by Hollywood for tense scenes on screen. I'm not a criminal, or a lawyer so I guess I'll never know the truth first hand. -

That's also a quote from Blow, and is a lie. -
I know several Staceys, and a couple Jamies... Men, and women.

The area around Viking Fury just got new concrete and fencing. Doesn't that count somewhat?

There may be a vacation day in my near future. -
By the time this is ironed out it may be too late in the season for me to justify the cost since I rarely eat at the park now. I would end up spending a lot more time there.

I don't understand why there is so much hate for Fast Lane and similar other services. I never will. I've said it before, I'll never use it at Kings Island because I live so close but if I had one day at a park other than my home park I would certainly look into it. That's across the board, no matter what company operates whatever park I'm visiting.

I'll take a few more laps on the longest inverted coaster in the world before I start asking for something else.

Current trends have a lot to say about laws and society also. Humanity is progressively moving left. Look at some laws and political debates we have nowadays. Some of our perceived normal behaviors were completely taboo not long ago.

It's on my to do list. For sure.

I LOVED SOB, but I was also a teenager when it opened and very durable. I probably wouldn't be nearly as enthusiastic about riding it now.

I've honestly never kept count of ride totals until this year and I chose to start now because I am curious about how much riding I actually do.

That land could be abandoned or developed. Someone within the company may know, or they may not.

That's prime terrain for rides. I'll take any future trips down there on a train from something closer to an existing midway please.

Every documentary is somewhat biased. Watch and read with skepticism.

I remember seeing a souvenir cup from the late 80s where the top four depicted were The Beast, Vortex, King Cobra, and Racer.

Kings Island Trip Reports: 2014 I'm way behind on this topic, and have already made several trips to the park. So far my highlights have been riding Banshee three times, and spending a few hours riding everything my kids wanted on one trip. Although my back may disagree with my second statement, I enjoyed that more than any new ride. To keep it short (for now) I may only update every few trips, or whenever something memorable or special happens. Ride count (totals in parentheses) Banshee + 3 (3) The Beast + 1 (1) Adventure Express + 1 (1) The Bat + 1 (1) BLSC + 1 (1) Flying Ace + 1 (1) Boo Blasters + 1 (1)

I don't think Kings Island will grow much larger than it is now. There is still plenty of space to develop and eventually redevelop.

I've been riding The Beast for most of my lifetime. Diamondback is now five years old and I've taken plenty of laps. I've never had an inverted coaster that rocks as hard as Banshee in my home park so that wins for now. Ask me again in 3-5 years.

I'm 99% certain it's not abnormal for the clock to be ready a little later than the first couple weeks of the season. jcgoble wrote what I was thinking, almost word for word.

I'm interested in this also. I hope someone can and will provide answers to everyone's questions.
