Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees

is there a tunnel/new covering on WWC's new queue? If so then it's pretty clear that they have plans to protect the crowd from SOMETHING going over them... -
Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Dms94 replied to jcgoble3's topic in Kings Island
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned as I'm not caught up on all the new pages, but what if the "watch for falling trees" hinted at a new drop coaster like the one CP just got. Seems as if KI and CP flip flop and share new attractions in alternate seasons for example WindSeeker, Dinosaurs Alive. Regardless, we've got a new ro.. Ride or attraction coming -
They look kind of purplish to mee too. And I'm a Macbook with retina display. Also, Vortex has purple/blue supports, i don't care what anyone says

Is stunt crew grill even like an actual open restaurant? It looks so dark and lonely when you walk by and I've never seen anyone coming out or heard of anyone eating there. Everyone goes to Festhaus, the Jukebox, or one of the many other stands. Seriously... I bet they don't get much business in that place. If it's even open, Banshee and the likely AZ facelift should definitely breathe new life into the grill! Banshee burger, anyone?!
-
I do not see it either and I watched the webstream, but not sure if Don or Greg said or not? I was there. Neither Don nor Greg stated that statistic....anyone know the height of the drop? Since I work for a radio station I get the press releases: The ride begins with a lift taking riders up to the maximum height of 167 feet. After plunging down 150 feet, riders will go through a dive loop, followed by a vertical loop, zero gravity roller, two batwing inversions, a second vertical loop and a 170-foot long heartline finale. You're a little late lol..

From the Banshee page: Kings Island announces plans for screaming new world record-breaking inverted roller coaster The longest inverted steel roller coaster in the world, “Banshee,” will make its debut at Kings Island in April of 2014. The first female-inspired thrill ride at a Cedar Fair Entertainment Company amusement park, Banshee will send riders screaming through 4,124.1 feet of track and seven mind-bending inversions at speeds up to 68 miles per hour during the 2-minute, 40-second ride. Built over hilly terrain and incorporating the most exciting features of the very best inverted roller coasters in the world, Banshee will feature several unique elements that distinguish the ride from others. The ride begins with a lift taking riders up to the maximum height of 167 feet. After plunging down 150 feet, riders will go through a dive loop, followed by a vertical loop, zero gravity roller, two batwing inversions, a second vertical loop and a 170-foot long heartline finale. Two of the most unique features about Banshee are the massive size of every loop, and unlike other roller coasters, the top speed isn’t reached until halfway through the ride’s course. Since Banshee’s lift hill is on a higher elevation of terrain than the other side of the ride that goes down into a valley, the total elevation change is 208 feet from the highest point at the top of the lift hill to the lowest point, which is the bottom of the batwing between loops four and five. Passengers will be seated in cars four across. A total of three trains, each containing eight cars, will enable Banshee to accommodate approximately 1,650 riders per hour. Banshee will be the 15th roller coaster at Kings Island, which is home to some of the top-ranked roller coasters in annual industry and enthusiast polls including The Beast and Diamondback, and represents the biggest new product investment in the park’s 41-year history at $24 million. Banshee was designed by Bolliger and Mabillard of Monthey, Switzerland, one of the premier leaders in roller coaster development. Since 1990, B&M has designed a number of ground-breaking and critically acclaimed roller coasters. In fact, B&M features 14 of the top 25 roller coasters on the Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards Top Steel Roller Coasters list for 2012, five of which are listed in the top 10. They have more roller coasters than any other ride manufacturer on the list. B&M roller coasters are renowned for their smooth ride, comfortable seats and restraints, reliability, low maintenance, impeccable safety record and ride capacity. As of 2013, B&M has more than 85 roller coasters operating worldwide, including Diamondback at Kings Island and this year’s sensation, Gatekeeper at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. The construction of Banshee is currently underway in the Action Zone area of Kings Island. Park visitors can see the ride being built from the ground up with great aerial views and photo opportunities available from the observation deck of the Eiffel Tower on International Street.

I like how all the tombstones in the teaser are to old rides! I love that entire teaser video actually.

Guys, I don't see how you guys aren't excited! I mean come on, we're getting a brand new coaster!!! I've never been on a full circuit invert, so I'm incredibly excited to try the new ride out. I love the rides like Face/Off and Top Gun (I will always call them by their real names) and the other inverted or "dangly leg" rides! Runaway Reptar was my favorite and first "Big" ride as a kid, along with Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster. I miss HB Land and Nick Universe. Snoopy is just terrible. My only concern with the new ride is that the way the seating is, if you aren't in the front seat, you wont have any good views... I mean you've just got a huge seat blocking your sight. Anyway... I'm excited to ride the new ride, and it'll become a top favorite of mine most likely. Rant over.

No, then you're only trespassing on the old Ford plant property. This is seriously the most ridiculous argument among a group of "Adults" ive ever heard... You may as well say its illegal to park in walmarts parking lot to take a picture of a car sitting across the street... I mean, get real. Parking lots. PARKING lots. You are allowed to park there. Now shut up.

How about ditching this stupid tapawhatever bullshizz... You have no idea how annoying it is to read through and seeing "Sent from blah blah blah whatever" every other post... at least erase the signature lol. Use your phone as its meant to be, free up some data, and ditch tap-dancing.

You guys keep getting worked up, but any new attraction is better than an empty field of grass. Be grateful:) that is all.

If this turns out to be The Bat wing coaster, you can all sy " Oh, i guess you were right?... we are the ignorant ones"
-
hahahahahahahahaha. Someone's in denial. Explain to me how in the world that could be fake?! Anybody who still thinks it is is either an idiot, or is completely delusional, just saying. I mean, the numbers match up, it's been proven to have actual engineering stamps, and has the same stamps and codes as drawings in the city office. People are freakin' crazy... I'm guessing it would be very easy to counterfeit a blueprint... after all, its done with money every day...

Well this was unexpected. Um..... These aren't real... he didn't even spell check Vicinity Edit: im a little late haha

I just hope the announcement is nothing like how the announcement during last years pink snoopy event went, it was a travesty. A travesty? Or tragedy? Two separate meanings.

"KI: SAVE THE DATE! Kings Island will unveil plans for a new world record-breaking attraction Thursday, August 8 at 10pm." Edit: Sorry.. Haven't read my pages yes this morning..
-
I just find it ironic how in tonights new Teen Wolf episode Lydia is revealed as being a Banshee... So the theme of the new ride is Teen Wolf, and AZ is being rezoned into MTV themes from other shows. Decoding done!
-
this project is at least 12 mil i would assume... based on the area, size, construction, and amount of planning and teasing
-
Isn't it obvious folks? Pay attention... don't get caught up in minutia and nonsense. Simply LISTEN to what the park is NOT saying. You'll know in due time, the park is telling you that. Sigh, I cant believe I am going to be the first person to post this. Everyone should really listen to Shaggy more often. 1-31 .. what is 1-31? 30. * I honestly don't know. Or do I? Actually 1-31 equals negative 30... that ,means they announced the new attraction 30 days ago Decoding done!

What's the evidence against a B&M Giga? Based on the footers, it's already been 100% confirmed to be a B&M, Oumit said that there wouldn't be any new Wing Riders this year. So that leaves with only a few options of coaster types. And I see it MUCH more likely to be a Giga vs an Invert. He said there any new wing coasters for this year... but building one for next year would still fit that statement accurately... Very PR-like statement. Wing-coaster is SUPER possible in my opinion. It just makes sense for the Banshee to be a winged.
-
If they won't tell, there's a good chance they don't know. Or they're misleading everyone by saying certain clues etc
-
You don't know this wont be a prototype... None of us know anything except the fact that we have footers...

Tweeted a while ago "@KingsIslandPR: This year's Halloween Haunt will feature two new mazes, a new fear zone and @EdAlonzomagic. New maze details coming soon." New fear zone... Meaning Action Zone could be made into a new fear zone and the new "thing" might be included or incorporated somehow... Hmm. Paranormal... Haunt... It makes sense
