HE changed his story cause he could not make out the blue prints IMO. That could be true but like I said I highly doubt that Kings Island misspells things on their blueprints. Engineers made the prints, not Kings Island. And trust me, engineers can misspell. I'm speaking from first hand experience...

Drawings look very legit. Do we know for sure that the blue track is for an invert? If the gods here already resolved that pages ago, sorry, I have a job and can't keep up with the hundreds of posts...

I have a few pictures of the coned off area in the parking lot. This thread is out of control, so I'm not sure if any info was supplied on the area. It's two small areas, one with a generator, and the other with two portable water containers. Doesn't seem like it's 100% related to the mystery ride. I'm working from my ipad. I can't figure out how to upload the pics....

But The Beast doesn't have OTSR's, and it's actually very smooth if you ride on a non-wheel seat. The Beast? Smooth? Yack. Four or five years ago, it threw my buddies back out and ended our day. It consistently beast the tar out of me. I'll give the non-wheeled seat a try.... I still don't see Vortex going anywhere anytime soon. While I'm thinking about beast....has it always had brakes on the first drop?

I'm always confused as to why people think that KI would tear down Vortex. It is by far one of the most popular rides. Sure, it's rough. But so is beast. I don't see either of them coming down anytime soon. It seems like there was a flurry of construction updates going on here for a while. Not so much lately. I'm going to KI this weekend and will gather as many clues as possible!

I happen to like the detailed pictures. Helps in the decoding process for peeps like me who never make it to KI

I wonder when they'll officially "spill the beans" on what is being built? It looks like Diamondback was annoucned on 8/6/08. Anyone know when WindSeeker was announced? I'm guessing they didn't errect any steel for DB until after the annoucement, correct? I really hope it's an inverted coaster. KI needs one. Really....it's what the place is missing....
