Welcome to KIC! i am new here to but from what i read no one knows for sure if it is for the new coaster or not hope you enjoy your stay!

I Personally think that the scarecrows, owls, and no camping signs that are kinda spooky themed may lead to a haunt announcement? maybe? just a guess

B&m is the Arrow Dynamics of today. They make outdated forceless rides and their hyper/giga coasters only have a little floater air. Intamin leads the pack in innovations. They try new things with their rides, new elements, take chances, strong ejector air. They are the present and the future of the industry. They also lead the pack in accidents... and not just with their coasters. Ex. a few superman ride of steel. a few different Drop Towers, capsized raft rides, and most recently a capsized shoot the rapids.... the list is so large compared to B&M... and I did not even list all of them. hmm maybe Kings Island is trying to have a safe run and have more up time than downtime with their rides because the last ride other than Vortex getting stuck on the chain i had an issue on was the second launching mechanism on back lot stunt coaster didnt work when it was supposed to but we were stopped for about a minute. I think being safe is Kings Islands route. I havn't heard of many Kings Island accidents in a long time.

i think you should get a cheep bag and put a bottle or 2 of water fr your self, if rides give you bad headaches bring some medicine. I have never been stopped and the rides ops on diamond back seemed to not care about the weight since they come by and pick your stuff up now. But i suggest rides that are not fast nor anything keep your bag with you but most rides i suggest putting it in the boxes. I have never got anything stolen from the box.

why does everyone hate b&m and love intamin? I don't really know the difference but can someone explain to me?

A 500 foot inverted wing coaster, themed of apples, The Steve Miller Band, corn, and owls. Edit : some putz will think I'm serious. I CANT wait it sounds so cool(I'm joking)

Have you guys seen the picture of the apple Don tweeted? Yesterday he said we will see what arrived today and today we saw an apple he was just getting our hopes up:/

The option to stop receiving messages is a legal requirement, under the CAN-SPAM Act. Either way, none of this is related to decoding anything, and as I'm new here I would rather like to avoid the ire of the more estabished members by delving to deeply into the legal ramifications of a topic of small importance. The park has an opportunity to obtain personal information from thousands of people that can be used to dissiminate promotional material for the park. I would very highly doubt they would use it to discreetly inform guests on a "secret location" as this sets them up for a tremendous embarrassment if very few guests show up. It would be much more likely that media outlets will begin receiving invitations from the park, and a physical clock as well as a digital countdown will inform the proletariat when they should expect an announcement (that's what will happen) i see your point but i was just thinking of this as an idea and it could happen it could not. They said we would be the first to know if we were in the KIClub so i figures it could have something to do with maybe an early announcement before the big one or maybe they text hints as we get closer to the announcement i am pretty sure they will do something with the texting service they set up and if they don't you would have proved me wrong.

Think you can get some updated construction zone pics up on the forum? if i can get there tomorrow i can or next time im there i will try to get some from the top of the Eiffel Tower and in the winter i will pass daily so i could get updates of the skyline.(that is if it changes) Awesome! ill be able to get pictures of the skyline anytime and also some from behind great wolf lodge seeing the back of flight deck and if you can see anything change there ill for sure get some pics of it!

i think im gonna keep the twitter feed of Kings Island up and keep an eye on my phone see if anything comes up and if it does try to get a ride to the park or even walk as i live very close.

Or...it is an extremely easy way to get a lot of phone numbers from enthusiasts who the park can then freely send messages to. 'Tis but a marketing strategy. that could also be true but im thinking from it saying "Our KIClub members will be the first to know" The key to any good marketing relying on customers willingly giving up personal information is to make them feel as though they will be special for doing it. but they also have the STOP option to remove you so people could join just for the "announcement" and leave after or stay

Maybe it will be in a secret location in the park and all the people in KIClub will get the text and once people see everyone going to one place we will see the announcement. just a thought because of the tweet saying that the people in KIClub will be the first to know

This is possible but type any other ride name i have tried: thebeast.com (and beast.com) WindSeeker.com and Vortex.com and non came up with anything so i think it is just a coincidence that it happened to have nothing on the page.
