  1. Congratulations! I am sorry I didn't make it back in time for the 300th ride. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  2. I do not keep track of individual rides after a certain point. I just get distracted. I do know I rode Woodstock Gliders most. 100 plus rides on it (I would say I easily reached 200 cycles). This year I spent more time in Planet Snoopy than I did when my children were little (obviously not named Planet Snoopy at those times). Princess Sparkles is trained at said gliders and not once worked a cycle I was on. When being trained she was warned about me and she actually admitted I am her mom. Park totals: Dollywood, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Strickers Grove, Holiday Day World, Hershey Park, Lakemont Park and Knoebles all with 1 visit each. Kings Island 137 visits. Bought 42 bags of Sweet Spots. I shared a lot of them, but am having withdrawals. I think I have a problem. I am at a total of 158 coasters, the princess is at 149. 3. Kinda funny, but I forgot i posted a trip report about Dollywood. Old age is rough... Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  4. Few more Dollywood shots: I love how they repurposed a former attraction with the new. The Eagle Sanctuary is awesome. Love their demonstrations, too. Ended the day meeting up with a friend from high school, his wife and son. It was great being able to sit down and catch up a bit.
  5. I probably should have posted these throughout the season, but never got around to it. Not as many parks as last year, but a lot more visits. First trip of the season was Dollywood - March 29 Woke up early and just decided I wanted to go ride coasters. I woke Princess Sparkles and asked her if she wanted to go to Dollywood. I have never seen a teenager get dressed as quickly as she did that morning. I will say one thing that has probably been one of the best things I have ever done is to learn to just be spontaneous at times with my children. We had not been to Dollywood since 2010. That was too long between visits. Princess Sparkles 2010 Princess Sparkles 2015 This park is simply a wonderful park all the way around. It's beautifully landscaped and the employees are fantastic. Mystery Mine is one of my absolute favorite coasters. It's such a fun ride. It's my favorite coaster at Dollywood. Wild Eagle was more impressive than I had expected it to be. The crew the day we were there were primarily more "seasoned" than crews at many parks and really seem to enjoy their jobs. It makes for a wonderful experience.
  6. ^ I waited to ride with you for your 300th ride, but when they had their slight delay around 6:40, I left due to needing to meet up with someone by 7:00. I heard the crew was fantastic and helped you count down to #300. Congratulations! My last ride was obviously The Beast (tradition and you know I love that crew!) Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  7. I just watched the video. That's awesome TB. Your talent continually impresses me. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  8. I will say even paying full price, Fright Feast is a good deal. Paying the $5 up change and a front of the line pass makes it a great deal. Food tastes pretty good, too. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  9. This weekend we were told by the person at Slaughterhouse "policy" had changed and they would not allow you to use the ticket received with the meal for access to Skeleton Key Rooms. It was only front of the line. I am sure it will depend on who you run into at the entrance to Haunts as far as it being enforced (and probably crowd size). My experience with personnel and food at Fright Feast have been pleasant. The only negatives I have had is the line on Saturday moved rather slowly and often times you have to ask for your pass which really was resolved quickly. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  10. Properly using seat restraints on animals prevent such things from happening. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  11. You get one front of the line pass to one maze when you purchase a Fright Feast meal. This is not a Skeleton Key ticket. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  12. I can try to get a better night time pic this weekend. The ones I took at night weren't quite as good.
  13. I think it going up the lift hill slowly is fine. If it's going up slowly, the crew is hustling and there is no stacking. Of course I am a bit partial to the crew, but think the crew is really awesome. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  14. Yes, I did. I was paying attention. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  15. We went to Hershey and it was packed. I didn't get to try their gliders. However, we went to Knoebles and their set is about the easiest ones I've ridden to snap. I wish the WG were like the ones at Knoebels or the old set we had at KI. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  16. I hope they continue working with Les Productions Haut-Vol because they have more than proven they can do brilliant, quality work. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  17. 207 shows out of 235 this season and I am far more impressed today than their 1st media day in 2014. Their stamina, talent, athleticism are simply amazing. Tonight I expected a different show like last year, but it was better. Various times they showed they love their fans throughout the show. Saw performers tear up. They love what they do (and they obviously loved the summer at Kings Island.) The crew - ushers to stage hands to their fearless leader, they have been one of the best crews to get to know. So many shows with minimal flaws. Their hardwork made this a wonderful season. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  18. Great job on your nails. I still have doubts that Thomas has seen a real woman, but any other way he would do that part would not make me laugh as much. They still amaze me with their talent. Over the past few days Nico has managed to perform new things on the ring. Nate has been able to show off his talent on the trampoline. I know what each of them do in the show is only a drop in the bucket compared to what they can fully do. Last 3 shows of the season are today at 3:00, 5:00 and 7:00 Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  19. That's awesome. Wish I could do things like that. I was really happy they chose that family. They even reserved seats for them in the front row for doing it. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  20. Before the 7pm show Trevor made an appearance outside. The family in the pic are the ones I mentioned in the snapping thread. https://youtu.be/-DewjLvvack Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  21. His name is Paul. He was also at many Ed Alonzo shows as well. Days he's at the park he sits in front of the theater an hour or more before they open the doors. I do not know if he's a member here, but will presume probably not. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  22. He is close. He kinda makes them stall, but not what I call a snap. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  23. Maybe we are getting a renovated LaRosa's that has food that actually tastes like LaRosa's outside the park. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  24. Hoping it's noting a return. We could really use a few new flats or a dark ride. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
  25. Nate (one of the trampoline guys) came over to just say hi to us and thank us for coming to the shows. These guys and gals are really a class act. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk
