  1. Thanks again! I guess I should go back and check whether Universal has an official app. We're planning on a visit there this fall.
  2. That would be great! It hasn't been open in our last 3 visits.
  3. I did check out the forums on TPR. Someone specifically asked about # of tickets (both before and after the event was sold out), and TPR said that they do not disclose that information.
  4. Wonder how many people that brings in? We went on a Sunday in May on (unknowingly) the American Coaster Enthusiasts weekend, which touted "more than 500 people from 37 states." Lines/crowds didn't seem any worse than Sundays in May from prior years, though it was a fairly chilly day if I recall. My oldest just surpassed the 54" mark this past winter, and was able to ride Banshee 3 times and Diamondback 3 times, among a host of other rides and coasters.
  5. I didn't even know that they had an official one. When we went to WDW in 2012, I don't recall if the app just didn't appear in my search or if it was a matter of user reviews. I'm not sure when/if we're going to WDW next, but I'll look into it if we go again. Thanks for the info!
  6. If anyone is heading to the park today, especially after 3pm, I'd appreciate any feedback on ride wait times. Thanks!
  7. Gabe - I appreciate the reply. Thanks!
  8. I love the (unofficial) Disney and Universal Studios wait time apps, and have been looking for something similar for Kings Island. I'd be willing to give this Ride Hopper app a try (just downloaded it), as it appears to be similar. However, I'm flipping through the different parks across the country & I'm not seeing any of the parks being updated. Does it really have no users?
  9. We are considering going to KI on a Friday night (3pm to close) one of the next four weeks. Purpose being to ride The Beast at night and see the fireworks. Our kids have never stayed until closing time or been on the rides after dark, and it's probably been at least 15 years since I have. We've been season pass holders the past three years and are used to light weekday crowds with low wait times from 9:30am - 7pm. It takes us about 2.5 hours to drive one-way. Can anyone share their experience on a Friday night? I'd be interested in normal, summer weather as a baseline, but if you had severe weather/rain, I'd be interested in hearing about that experience, too. Does Friday night typically get into 1-2 hour wait times for coasters like The Beast, Diamondback and others? How about the Planet Snoopy coasters or Coney Mall rides? Thanks in advance!
