Again! Would like to say thanks for all the awesome and very helpful replies. I am a natural worrier, so thank for helping me put the worries to bed and get ready and totally pumped for my Tuesday trip!! As much as I love Kings Island and usually go several times a year, I unfortunately did not get to go last year at all, so I am ITCHING to ride Banshee!!!!! And KI Central is one of my favorite websites ever since I stumbled upon I love reading all the posts and joining the conversations and since finding I've recommended the sit to a few friends who also love it!! Yes! That is what I have heard about processing (I posted asking about it earlier this week) I am taking my vouchers and my ID and the card I used to pay to make sure everything goes butter smooth lol! That our pretty much our plan after we get processed to just kind of hang out in the shops on International Street or Festhaus until is blows over. I'm just going to take a towel and a poncho to be safe!

Thanks! I was pretty sure that I wouldn't affect anything but I just made me a little nervous. We are traveling about 3 hours and I just didn't want it to be to much a waste. but we are going no matter what (unless they are closed haha) As for the closing early - On the calendar on Tuesday they show being open 10am to 8pm! My friends and I decide on a Tuesday hoping it to be less packed (and that when everyone could go) but hopefully the rain will help with that some too!! and after 11am their is only a 20% chance of rain and then if just cloudy the rest of the day! Hi guys! This is probably a dumb question but I am visiting the park on Tuesday (May 24th) and I checked the weather as per usual and there are 60% chance of T-storms from 9-11am then after 11am it drops to about 20% and just cloudy. Well, anyway what I was wondering is IF it does storm for a bit there at the beginning of park opening is that going to affect the park opening??? I know the weather just kind of does what it wants, so I was just wondering if they had like a weather policy or something like that. Sorry if it a dumb question but you guys are the best source for Kings Island Info. (beside straight from KI) and I was just wondering, Thanks!!

Probably! Lol and Me too, I buy a season pass to Kings Island and I go every year it's the same distance for me to both parks and for the drive and and money Kings Island will always be my first, second, and probably third picks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Having a ride inspected weekly isn't even a choice on Roller Coaster Tycoon. Why in the world would that be appropriate in real life? Please tell me you're being sarcastic with that remark. All parks (except KK as we're finding out) inspects all their rides each day. Yes, all the coasters have the entire length of track walked and checked. RCT isn't something to infer information on how real parks operate. You should really read the rest of the thread to get more info on KK's situation. Many people want the park to succeed. Its their own actions that warrant worry. They continually do things that set the park up for failure, at the expense of the Commonwealth's taxpayers no less. Government has no business running amusement parks. I was completely joking. I know that RCT isn't really how parks operate. I'm in KY, and haven't been able to make it to KK since the park reopened. I would love to see the park succeed, because I really would like to have a closer theme park. However I've always wondered why the park isn't advertised much in my area. hmm... I'm just about 2 & 1/2 hours east of Louisville in Kentucky and I haven't seen any advertisement at all for KK nothing on news of TV or anything. I thought it was strange too. Living in Kentucky all my life I've never been to KK and I have little desire to do so I more into coasters than flat rides so I don't see much of a draw to KK. On a side note. I want to know who's thought it was a good idea to paint T3 entirely bright red! It almost hurts my eyes to look at it. I think they should have added a secondary color to tone it down some. I noticed a couple days ago that the app wasn't showing show times for the Cirque show and I've have checked back a few time and still nothing. I thought at least by the first day of show they would have times up but I guess now :/

When I would get a little scared and get the jitters, my dad use to always tell me that I was supposed to be intimidated by the ride. That the jitters were all part of the ride experience and it makes it more fun! That how I use to deal with my jitters I would just tell my self that it made it more fun! Now that I am older I still get jitter but they have changed from jitters of fear to jitters of excitement!
