jason333
Back when Paramount owned Kings Island they would start to offer the following year's season passes at the end of the season. Does Cedar Fair still do this? I can't remember if they did it last year or not. I want to get season passes but I'm wondering if it would be worth it to just hold out until late season to buy them and use them for the remainder of 2007 and all of 2008. Also, does anyone know about when they start selling them? I want to say it was in September but I am not 100% sure.....
flightoffear1996
I am pretty sure that they will still sell the 2008 season pass towards the end of the year because that is when you will usually get all of your free perks. I would look for them to go on sale late sept. early oct.
Delirium33
We always buy our next year's passes at the end of the season simply because of the free parking. But next year ('08) we want to get Maxx passes so hopefully there is a (ki) parking deal with them as well. I also wonder if they will be more organized with the passes next year, maybe having parking and gold pass indicators on the cards. Guess we'll just wait and see... The Interpreter
Given the debt level and Cedar Fair's past practices, I wouldn't depend on either free parking or passes that are good the remainder of the year. Neither has been a practice of the Cedar Fair legacy parks (except Dorney Park where season passes have always included season pass parking...at Cedar Point, that will set you back from $50 to $70). But, we won't know until we know. I doubt that Cedar Fair is even sure what they are going to do pricewise or amenity level wise yet.
