August 4, 200422 yr I recently made a topic here about the fact that Viacom has transferred the Amusement Park division from the Paramount Motion Picture Group umbrella to the Nickelodeon umbrella. What kind of effect if any do you think this will have on the theme parks?
August 5, 200422 yr First off, THIS IS MY 600TH POST!!!! :cowboy:  :guitar: :graduated: :medieval: I predict virtually no change, except more emphasis on Nickelodeon and less on Paramount's Pictures in the TV commercials and other forms of marketing. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
August 5, 200422 yr I don`t think there will be much of a change in the park. I think the only reason they switched the divisions was for management purposes. While I do think there might be more Nick stuff in the parks, look at the past couple of years. More Nick stuff has come into the park the past couple of seasons anyway.
August 11, 200422 yr I agree. i think the Nickelodeon thing is simply because PKI is 'family entertainment'. It would make since with the grouping.
August 17, 200422 yr Considering that PKI's next attraction is themed after a Paramount movie, I think it's safe to say that the management take over by Nickelodeon won't change the park. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
August 17, 200422 yr I cant say I love the idea of Nick taking over because its hard for me I used to go to Kings Island and get hugs & Pictures made w/ Captain Caveman,Yogi,Fred Flintstone,The Smurfs I hate to see them leave but again I think we will see some cool kiddie rides themed to Nick soon.
