Hey everyone...I'm new here, first time posting. We are considering a trip to Kings Island this Sunday? Does anyone know how the crowds will be? We normally go during the week this last week of August and crowds are low. Will we be as lucky on Sunday? Thanks!

That's really hard to predict. I'm not aware of any major picnics going on this weekend, however that doesn't necessarily mean there isn't one. Typically Sundays aren't as bad as the rest of the weekend. I hope you have a good time!

A trip report I read from this past Sunday said a lot of the rides were station waits only!! SOB was like 20 mins, and top prize (as always) was Firehawk at like 30 mins or so...so I would think you should be golden!!

As always, much also depends on the weather...if it is not raining, not too hot and the humidity is low, Katie may have to bar the door. If it is hot as blazes and doesn't rain and you aren't interested in Boomerang Bay, you may have a very good day indeed. In any event, on Sundays, it is always much less crowded before noon, after which the locals start arriving after church...

very true....although Firehawk was a much longer wait than 30 minutes, at least whenever i was around:P....but everything else was station waits...including SOB, which i rode three times ...sunday being my first time being able to ride....

first ride...in the front seat...smooth, nice ride....i like it..

second ride...middle of the car....OUCH! i can understand why a lot of people hate this ride....the differences between those seats is amazing...

A lot of trip reports I've read recently for July and August have all mostly claimed very light crowds on Sunday! I gotta start doing Sunday's more next year!!
